first weekend after wednesday maintenance (1017)

Finally got in after 40 mins of trying.

Only to be greeted with IMMENSE server lag on everything, making the game almost unplayable.

45 minutes later, booted out with a 90000 error.

Screw that, time for some Wow ;)

Well Done SE, I paid to play this game and yet whenever I tried to log in always greeted with the World is full
can't transfer server and don't expect me to create another new character on another server since you're management on server is a joke

Tiamat player here. I already feel that the extra 7 days given was just burned by constant 1017s and since it is the weekend, more 1017s.

How hard is it to have an AFK boot after x amount of minutes and a working queue system?

It really is beyond a joke.

Why are non-JP Players being locked out from JP Data server around 10pm-7am? I have JP friends that can log on in one try at the same time i am trying to log on? 1017 please kill it!

I'd say most likely because there is an influx of JP users, and I would imagine that since they are closer to the server, their connections are better (less degredation) they are getting preferred treatment from the load balancing software/hardware.

Also, to toss my "neener neener" into the thread. On midgardsormr I've had exactly 0 problems with logging in. Got into Queue a few times (Highest place I saw was 117) with no issues.

It's sad that I really want to play honestly. I paid for this game, and even upgraded for the digital collectors and still I just can't get into Valefor this morning for the life of it (here's hoping I get in right after my complaining).

I havent had an issue with being able to log in. No 1017's since the update, but I've gotten so many 90k errors. Sent in a ticket, posted all over a 90k error thread just for it to get moved to the resolved section and my ticket was an apology and that they're working to resolve the issue. It's quite frustrating. :(

I've only seen 1017 since Wednesday... had a few que times but they were really short... Been getting Windows errors on the loader that's preventing me from playing. Sucks for the people who are having trouble getting in. I enjoy this game and don't like seeing other ppl who spend hard earned money being frustrated that they can't enjoy it too. Hope Square figures these issues out before it cripples the game and it fails.


Edit: as soon as I post my Windows error keeps me from playing it starts working... You silly Windows

apparently the issue now is with the jp servers, at least this is happening only in jp peak hours it seems other then that no problem all day but right now 1017 all the way >.<

edit: yep almost 40min trying and even, one time, when i got a really short queue still booted out D:

Japan servers during peak hour is nightmare especially on sunday. i'm unable to login for the whole day. i wasn't lucky enough

6 Servers for the whole of Europe is a joke.

Glad i haven't subscribed yet because i'm probley not going to.

I don't say this to be mean-spirited, but it brings me some glee to hear the JP servers are now having the same abundance of login issues NA/EU did for two weeks. Now everyone can be in the same boat and no one can play!!

I'm 100% joking. It's pretty stinky they still can't handle the capacity, even with the 'upgrades'. Time to stop buying server hardware from Bob's PC Repair I suppose.

Touch wood, no problems yet. But I've only been able to play this weekend on evenings.

Ive played on JP servers from the start and the problem has always been there.. so considering this is an american thread i doubt many JP will be complaining here.. ALSO it wont even load my freaking character WTF!!!!

When will the server/world transfers begin, free, paid, or otherwise?

Each week that passes my group of RL friends that planned to do dungeon runs together gets smaller and smaller and you're losing them as subscription paying customers. I'm not giving empty, over exaggerated threats, it's really happening.
