It's extraordinarily unreasonable to have certain things spawn at reasonable hours for whatever region a given server is labeled? Your logic is extraordinarily unreasonable.

Also: I don't give two shits about other regions. If the server says NA, or EU, or JP on it, the things should spawn at make sense times for the region that those servers host. I don't expect to go on a JP server and demand that stuff start spawning at NA times. You shouldn't either, Oceanic / SEA be damned.

Take a nap during the day if you are truly that concerned about your health. No one is making you stay up. I understand you want the drop...but it seems to me like you have a few options. 1)Pull the all nighter. 2) Take a nap during the day to replenish the lost sleep you'd get from the all nighter. 3) Suck it up and deal with it...lol

Noticed that Odin pops around midnight in JP time too. Then again, would people be alright if they varied up the time like behemoth of ffxi? It has to come as a surprise, not on a schedule.

If things are spawning at 4AM on a NA server, it's sub-optimal for the vast vast majority of the characters on that server, guess that makes them liars. If the server says NA on it, it should cater to NA. just like EU and JP. Petition them to make a Oceanic server, otherwise, deal with it.

Is it a fix spawn time or does it only have a probability to spawn somewhere inside an interval? Reason I ask is: if it is fix, then obviously there is a problem with keeping it fixed around a time where the majority are sleeping.

If there are probabilities involved so that it may and may not spawn during the prime time, then it is fine.

Since when all NA zone sleep from 12midnight to 6am or 7am? There are a bunch of people that working hours and play time are reverse of yours.

At the end of the day, the people complaining about spawn times will have to suck it up. If you can't play when the mob is up you will not get the drop. I doubt SE is going to change spawn times because a few people don't like staying up late. Unless the majority of people are in disagreement ( obviously they're not) then nothing will be done about it.

Absolute nonsense, why label them NA/EU/JP at all then? And it wasnt so you could get better ping times coz guess what? The ones labelled EU are in the same building as the ones labelled NA. Its obvious they are labelled to funnel players into similar times zones and there is then the option if your friends are on a specific server your are not restricted by regional servers.

However if its labelled EU the timed content should fit said region and vice versa with NA or JP, SE cant please everyone but they can please the vast majority.

Well i understand where the OP is coming from although i don't find the whole issue unreasonable. I'm from the UK and work til 5 am in the morning when most of the Americas are still between 9-12pm. yes i understand you are a bit butt hurt about it but geez get over it. Yes i'm on Hyperion too, yes I fought Behemoth at 11.14 am my time and i was bloody tired too. i probably wont see it again anytime soon so i got this horn that's practically inventory -1. Although if i want to ruin my health its my own choice. SE is not forcing you to play it or stay up late.

With the whole NA server should be NA, I was on Kashuan before the whole server merge to Hyperion and the NA designation that followed in 2.0 they only had the EU suggestion to the servers to try and group players to have a similar time zone together as the EU population was the lowest out of the 3.

I can agree with the sentiment that if it's a NA server, it should spawn within a reasonable time for NA, but that 'damaging our bodies' thing is a bit much. No one's forcing you to damage your body for a game; you chose to do that, instead of simply going to bed when you normally would.

So is there a website with countdown timers to these yet? Is the respawn on a timer? If so when? Or are people trying to keep this hush hush.

I would like to finally be on when they pop but dont feel like camping their zones all night long.

you need to give your attention to the game undivided 24/7 and never sleep to even have a chance of fighting them. who cares how sick never sleeping makes you right? if you sleep they'll spawn while you're sleeping.

So they both spawned around 10AM today. I missed it, but this is perfect and a good time for them to pop. No more of this 4AM crap.

No one who lives a normal, healthy life, develops this level of sickness that you're describing from waking up early. I work a job that has me get up at those hours, and I have yet to burst into flames or develop any diseases.

You ignorant, arrogant *expletive deleted* Your time schedule is not the same as everyone else's time schedule. Even if everyone on the server is in North America, people all work different shifts. The point of having them spawn RANDOMLY is so that everyone, no matter what country, time zone, work schedule, will have a CHANCE at getting to fight them.

I remember camping Panzer Percival in Jugner Forest to get my Neckchopper for HOURS, I am glad to see things like this in XIV.

Fact of the matter is, NA/EU servers run on JP Time. I believe that what the OP Is Asking is that boss spawns on NA servers be set to NA time. Not having NA boss spawns work because for JPs its an acceptable time. Same thing for EU servers. We know, and they know, what servers are EU servers. Have their spawns set for their times and have JP spawns on the JP servers set to spawn during reasonable JP times.

I once camped Raster of Guk over the course of 3 days. He was on a 27m timer with a placeholder. I set my phone to alert me every 27 minutes between the hours of 4pm and 2am. Finally got him on the third day.

I'm so going into work tomorrow at 3a.m. (AGAIN, UGH!) and telling my boss this shift is just ruining my body, he better stop paying me.

psst the game is played be people in all different time zones, what is 5 AM for you is 6:30 PM for others.

Make the spawn timer 28-30 hours. Problem solved.
It's offset enough that the spawn time constantly changes so that people in any timezone do it.

The time for the spawns is Prime time in Japan making the time for spawns obvious. The best solution would have it be a chain of Fates that spawn in intervals on set timers, and once one is completed it will instantly link to the next Fate in the chain and so on until Odin/Behemoth Fate pops. This allows for people to do the Fates at different times as they can happen at random times depending on the time of the Fate being completed.

Not everyone lives in Japan. NA server events should run off NA times, and EU server events should run off EU times.

I once camped a VT key. Some of the shards were 18 hour camps. - I went to the SOE forums demanding that they make me a special snowflake spawn, only killable by me, at my convenience, so that I wouldnt have to feel the ramifications of my priorities, like staying up all night getting tired as a consequence. - It has helped me in life. Those lessons from taking responsibility for my choices really wouldnt have done anything for me in the long run. - Now fix these Fates, Im on Gmt +1.
