Cant play without using a VNP (Using Spotflux)

Dont disable your anti virus, ports forwarding doesnt fix this issue either.
The real cause is there are ISP that have issues with the connection while playing the game

Welcome to the club, you are not the only one with this issue.
As of now all I can suggest is to keep using the VPN until Square finds a solution to this issue, and pray that the fix is soon...

I had contacted my ISP (through Twitter, social networking FTW) This what I had recieved

Your ISP might be seeing your connection as a Peer to Peer connection (BitTorrent, and such). If their filters are misinterpreting your connection as such, they will cut your connection. A VPN will bypass such filtering, but unfortunately causes additional latency. I believe these detection systems are automated, so low-level tech support representatives will likely know nothing about them. See the following post:

I couldn't get Spotflux to even load the launcher; it'd time out every time. Don't know if ports needed to be forwarded to make it work though.

I have the same exact problem , can't log in without vpn

this problem started in phase 4 , phase 3 played fine

Yeah im out of ideas...Not sure what to do. I emailed SE about the problem and they only sent me an email saying they fixed the problem a few days ago in the patch. Yeah....no. You guys didnt. and they told me if i needed help to go to the live chat room that doesnt work. SE for the win.

Decided to bump this. Googled and searched on forums looking for answers; this is the only thread that deals with this specific issue (that I've found.)
There's still no solution? I haven't gotten a straight answer yet.
