Petition: Magitek Armor Tune

Yes! I'm gonna go insane if I hear anymore of the choco music or the current music that plays with this mount/goobbue/coeurl.

Yes, please do this. At first I thought they already had that as the mount song.

I thought it was going to be this music and was disappointed it was the gobbue so switch it back off.

I would completely sign for this feature and for all mounts of a particular type to have a unique musical score which matches it's design. Although I understand SE must prioritize at this time, but keep it in mind FFXIV:ARR developers.

I've never even played FFVI and I agree with this. I listened to the music one of you guys posted and it sounds amazing.

I'd like to see other Final Fantasy music here and there as well. There is nothing wrong with playing to our nostalgia, this is Final Fantasy we're talking about. When I played WoW I had an addon called Soundtrack that allowed you to put your own music in whatever zone you wanted, I had mine filled up with Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger/Cross music (It doesn't get much better than having this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESqZb7hY1S0 play while in Dalaran, a floating magical city for you who haven't played WoW).

FF6 is my favorite Final Fantasy by a significant margin. However, I would be hesitant to accept this. Homages to the previous installments are fine, but we're getting dangerously close at this point (mainly due to all the Lightning stuff) to playing FFXIV Fanservice Reborn.

It's only fitting. I was expecting a different song anyway, even if it wasn't Tera's theme... but to find out it is the same music for Coeurls and Goobbues, I was really surprised... and not in a good way.

While I understand your point, Magitek armor is in itself the greatest homage to FF6 any FF game has ever made. Other games might bring up Ultros or Chupon but only as optional bosses generally found in arenas as one shot events. The magitek armor in this game is designed to look as close as possible to the original concept art for Final Fantasy 6. Removing magitek would drastically change the game yet it is still very much pulled from 6. In fact the entire Garlean empire seems to take a lot of things from the Gestahl Empire.

As chocobo's have their own theme I think it would be a cool idea for other mounts to get their own theme as well and this would fit so well that not doing just sounds silly to me. They already have the theme created and Yoshida said the only reason it's not used is because they need a place for it that it fits.What better place then to attach it to the in game armor that was original introduced in FF6 with the same music?
