45 minutes of trying over and over. 1017

Sucks they didn't sort this all out before Labor Day Weekend... I got 3 days off and plan to make full use of them.

1017 really sucks. At the least, SE owes us all an apology and equal amount of free days to however long it takes them to fix the problem.

This game has been noting but a pain in the ass from day one.

I want my money back !!

This is bullshit, making new servers and upgrading hardware does not take this long. So what is the deal?

I have only been able to play on time since early release. I get 1017 every time I try to log in

My game crashed last night around 6pm. I spent literally three hours trying to log in. Three hours straight.

Just woke up and I'm already getting 1017s... Time to join the 1017 fray

I spent over 4 hours on the first days of Aion in queue. Why the heck can't SE setup the queues right?? I shouldn't have to keep hitting Start > Character > Ok a few hundred time on the PC just to HOPE to get in. Also, why the heck does it kick you out to the Start screen as well?? That's not right either ... **sigh**

I'm now getting 1017's before logging into the character select screen. Then I get a 5006.....sigh I played a bit and it was awesome but I logged out, big mistake :(

I 1st started playing on Aegis(missed the transfer but glad I did or I wouldn't have been able to play on a NA server.)

I Just bought another copy of the game for my brother so he can play on the ps3 while I'm on the PC. Turns out now so many NA players have jumped to JP servers to complain in game in shout chat or to play the game now prevents character creation on aegis. Decided to make a new character on both account on a different server that my friend play on they were able to get on. Goblin or Diablos or Hyperion and well those are down to.

Now My brother and I are limited to EU servers and about 3-5 servers on NA. But I prefer to not play on those servers if I'm going having to world transfer assuming that will be possible if its not free or if one of the other servers open up...I hope Square plans on giving back to the players lost time for error code 1017/etc but for now im going to play LOL....

This would not be so bad if Yoshida hadnt just basically told us that while they ARE incompetent they will NOT be doing what we have asked them to do. So I do not expect that server transfers will be free and SE will have of their own volition killed FFXIV TWICE.

well i was able to stay logged in for the weekend but my client decided it needed to crash today :( now i cant get in again and the char list takes forever to load so spaming X doesnt work :(
