Still no Physical CE... (Canada)

anyone in BC canada get their CE yet?

I forgot that it's a long weekend here too, well that's a bummer because those of us who haven't received it yet likely won't get it until at least tuesday then.

If I could at least check a tracking number for the shipment it would alleviate some concerns.

Same boat...Wish someone who has received it although they had a "NotTraceable" number would confirm it. That'd help, even if just a little bit. :/

I also have yet to get my CE in the mail(also BC Canada) makes me wonder if ordering from the company themselves was a good idea...

Both me and my friend, BC. Is BC's orders lagging behind for some reason? I've seen people elsewhere getting them at least the day before yesterday...

And yeah, we're most likely going to have to wait till Tuesday.....

Confirming that I received my PC CE package on Tuesday in Mississauga, Ontario even though my order was marked as NotTraceable... Along with a $20 import fee :P

Order was placed back on the 15th of Jun. Good luck!

Thanks! This is giving me a bit of hope. :) Maybe it has only been delayed in customs. Sadly, the duty fees are a reality we can rarely escape from...

I'm in a house waiting on two CE's and a Standard physical copy. Nothing yet in Burnaby, BC.

EDIT: Oh hey, look at that out-of-date sig.

I'm in BC too and i still ain't recieved my collectors edition or normal editions i ordered for ps3 from the SE canadian online store and from reading this i find out that on top of not being able to recieve it now till at least Tuesday thanks to the long weekend... that i'll be charged customs fees too.... ugh....

i cant even play anymore until i get my CE :(

That sucks.. If you didn't get it today you will have to wait until Tuesday at the earliest.

I luckily just picked up my copy and saved $7 because the post office screwed up something.

I can't speak for everyone but mine has a big DHL Global Mail sticker under the Canada Post one. Had to pick it up at my local Canada Post office. They obviously switched it over when they got to the border.

It's going from usa to canada... The package has to clear customs from another country. There is no timeframe, you just have to be patient unless you chose an expensive and fast shipping method.

Well, I posted a thread earlier about my issue about not receiving my CE. Though, I'm based in California instead of Canada, but it seems a large enough issue. My package basically went in a loop on the other side of the country and has yet to even reach the west coast. Indiana -> Georgia -> Tennessee -> Georgia. That's the loop it has been in for the past week and a half.

Sadly, this issue makes me less likely to continue playing my friends are ahead of me b/c they receive their copies first despite me placing an order way before them. :\

Sounds awful. It seems alot of people are having this issue.

More than I thought, yeah... This is pretty lame. :/ Aw well, we can still discuss over here, at least?

What really gets to me is that in just 3 days (long weekend) I'm gonna be so behind the rest of my FC. It'd suck even harder if for some reason the postman doesn't leave the package here and drops it off at the post office. They make you wait an extra day before you can even go pick it up. At least for me they always do.

I'll be glad as long as the person who delivers mine, doesn't do what the person who was delivering my package did... Where they didn't even bother knocking or anything, they just left the note to pick it up the next day.

Still waiting here. For now I get to play Deadpool and Tales of Xillia though.

That's usually what happens with UPS here. I've seen them walk up to the door and put the note on there and leave without knocking or ringing the door bell.

I actually spent most of my FF free night playing Tales of Xillia as well. I was pretty close to ordering the bluray soundtrack for FF14 as well but I'm really glad I didn't after this whole shipping fiasco. What they should do is give players the extra free days of game time now. It would definitely help out those of us who are waiting on shipping.

I agree with the free time extension happening now. Not everyone would get their game on time and in some cases there may be big delays.

I too have also had the problem with Canada Post where they just leave a note without trying to hand me the package. Thankfully it's a rare occurrence.

I really like how they gave you the option of choosing a Canadian online store but we still have to pay a customs fee. Is that not the whole point of having a Canada specific online store so your customers don't get surprised with the fee.

I ordered through the SE store because my local EB didn't have the PC CE available in their system.

I placed my order back in June, and it arrived on Aug 27th and got slapped with a $30 duty. I'm in Toronto, ON.

Anyone in BC STILL not have their package? I'm in Burnaby and still haven't gotten it delivered. My friend just got his today.................

I live in Toronto, ON. Got mine on the Tuesday the game came out around 1:30PM.

I'm in Vancouver, BC; my roommate and I are still waiting for our copies. We're both like, hovering around the mail box every morning and still no luck. :mad:

I'm in the Atlanta area as well and mine has been sitting in Kansas City, KS since the 24th.

I am going to get my credit card company involved and refute the charge. Fortunately is has Delivery Confirmation and they can see I haven't received it. There is no way to contact SE's provider and attempting to get a response from the USPS is a frikkin joke.

Save me $77 and was just buying it as a nice to have not a gotta have.

I'm a v1.0 CE owner and Legacy so, no skin off my back.

Well if we look on the bright side, even if our postmen are lazy and leave a slip instead of delivering the game, we can't play anyway due to the massive maintenance due to start in 2 hours.

OK IDK if you guys were holded like the other players that buyed from PSN store, they were holded.. by not getting the update.. soo maybe they are trying to hold up your copies... you should contact SE and write them your frustration

I don't think that applies in most cases in this thread. People are waiting for physical copies that we know have already been shipped out like 10+ days ago.

edit: also my friend just got his today too

I'm from Canada QC I received mine with an extra charge of 26$ on August 29

In eastern canada here and got my CE the next day after official release.

Got the pick up notification in the mailbox today so I should be able to pick up the game tomorrow. My brother and I are from Abbotsford BC so I guess it's hitting other parts of BC besides Vancouver now.
