:::Petition:: Removal of 1017 and Reinstatement of Global Queue System

/signed I have never seen an MMO that DIDNT have a que. Why should I sit there for 2 hours trying to log in only to be told one time that the server is full, the next time I can log in no problem then the server is full, then I'm in an 8 person que...this is the worst design....EVER. I will not be subbing if this is the way of things.

yeah.. and exactly why SE needs to come up with a way to stop it. Imagine it wil be an on-going issue--might even be a mechanism to help combat the RMT camps. Had to turn off shout/yell because of the spam that was starting up from them (wonder if they've started botting already?).

Even if it is 1 day, 5 days, or a month the fact that there is not que time at all makes no sense. Today I tried to log onto the server my friend's are on and guess what it gave me a que. But much to my (not really) surprise another box appeared over the que box saying that the World is full. Now that is cruel beyond imagine. I understand that more people than expected are playing but people bought this for one reason TO PLAY IT and right now only a very few are able to do that.

I guess I'm off to play WoW until the BS gets straightened out.

Love the game from what I've seen. Just wish I could actually play. Hopefully the steps they have outlined are enough.

lol i don't see why everyone is so angry this is a pointless petition at best a bit of nerd raging and if you had actually bothered to read the client launcher they are working on a fix but things don't happen over night your not paying to play it yet either so the argument is mute and adding to that factor if your are a legacy player you know how bad 1.0 was and you played through what was 1.0 also paying for what was essentially a broken game losing out on a few days play time is not the be all and end all

Second day in a row I have been completely unable to play. If I were a non-Beta/Early Access person and could have only started playing since yesterday I'd be thoroughly pissed right now. Instead I'm just greatly disappointed in the broken queue system. The highest spot I have had in queue since this 1017 nonsense is 12. There was even a time that I got the 1017 error for about 10 minutes and then was suddenly #5 in queue. This really needs to be fixed. Put me in a queue, I don't care if I'm 200th in line with a wait of 45 minutes. I'll go make dinner and watch some tv while I wait, but having to sit here spamming 0 on my numpad? Umm, no thanks.

still not paying a sub to play and pretty much every MMO launch goes through this process in one way or another and this is day 1 or 2 since official launch

I would much rather be in a 500 to 800 queue and be able to go wash the dishes or make food, than have to sit at my computer to keep trying or give up altogether, cause at least then I'd know where I stand in line.

This post is not designed for nerd raging on myself or anyone else. If you have a comment pertaining to the topic post it with mitigation as this is not for direct corelation as to "whats right and whats wrong" this is a petition to try to get help where help is needed. I dont need all this bashing and whatnot, Thanks for your interest and input.

Because this lack of queue system is the worst idea ever developed. Well maybe not worst but it's damn close.

if you are on the PC version and you open the launcher under the special notices section there is a post explaining the plan to eliminate the issues that a lot of people are experiencing and whilst the few players having this issue the majority of the time there is also those that have been playing and leaving there character logged in 24/7 since they got on and rather than fixing a cue system it would benefit more players if they added an auto disconnect feature especially when there are those players that just leave there characters logged on all day and night

ya we definitely need a system in place to kick out the people who are on 24/7 but i still think we need a que system in place it most likely wouldn't make it before they fix server capacity but if this ever occurred again i am with most people would rather wait a hour or two in a long que then sit here trying to log in over a two hours and hey maybe this will never happen again but it would be a nice have it there even more so when we start subbing for are game time

yea i basically just said screw trying to get into adamantoise and have found myself now playing on a JP server. Instant log in, no wait time, quiet gameplay. Ill do this for the meantime

The mistake they made was not enough worlds simple as that and they say they got a fix in the works to make more servers available early next week.......

opening weekend when people are off school and work under these conditions your gonna lose players first impressions is everything the games great (when you can log in) but after 5 hours of trying to join the server my toons on sorry thats way to long.

should have took a look SWTOR launch with to many servers and merge at a later date at least people could still play granted on underpopulated servers its still dam sight better than fighting the 1017 boss over and over again

An hour trying to log on and twice I've made it into the queue only to get "disconnected from the server" immediately upon getting to the load screen. I only get about 2-3 hours when I can play and spending it hitting log on over and over again, unable to go make something to eat or browse online without risking the one lucky press of login that results in getting queued vs the "fuck you, try playing at midnight" is not how I want to spend my evening.

Umm if your not in US - you should connect to EU or if your around japan (and know japanese preferred) JP server. There's a reason the NA servers are full of NA players and EU players don't connect so well - distance.

Not sure who you're directing this at. Personally, I was ASSIGNED the legacy server they decided to put my character on and it's full when I come home from work ready to play. At least with a queue I'd be able to do something other than sit here clicking the button for over half of my available play time.
