FFXIV crashes alot on WIN7 64 bits

He had BSODs,most of the time it means something is up with hardware ,unless the OS is crapping on him, either way testing mem ram is the easiest way to solve BSODs 80 percent of the time.

I never heard of nvidia ever causing BSODs, crashes yes but BSODs never.

Edit: Like you mentioned it could be vram, so either way is a memory problem is right there in big bold letters

You make it sound like graphic cards don't use your RAM.

I posted mine since I had that problem, well not exactly since I have AMD based graphic card. So same error beside a change in driver name.

To know more about his problem, we would need access to his dump file and dig through it.

But yes, first thing to try would be to remove old drivers and install new.

The particular error he's showing has been circling the NVIDIA forums for some time. 318 was a notoriously poor driver and caused many of these errors and yes, BSODS.
