I'm getting the exact same error message. It was working fine around 4am PDT then after a few hours I can't open the launcher anymore...

I'm on PS3 and keep getting this error everytime, and just when my free trial period is about to expire (only 2 days remaing)...
I am tring to update my launcher and it says version check failed with the error [30605][20448][10009][10019] my version is currently 2013.09.10.0000.0001
I am running the windows / PC version
I have all appropriate boot files
Checked Read Me and compatibility boxes
Have power cycled my whole network.
Still same error.
I'm in Portland Or.
I have Comcast
and was playing just fine last night/ this morning at 5am PST.
Anyone have any hints or tips or help for me or do I just report the bug and sit on my hands? :(
Just started my pay for sub last night and this happens.....
I have tried everything that has been posted to date. I have uninstalled and installed, checked the properties and the read only is unchecked, tried to replace the boot file, tried to go back to an old launcher, checked my internet connections and still nothing! 4 days so far of not being able to connect and they still have not even answered my email concern about this subject! Can someone please help? This is starting to p### me off, I really hope i have this back up and running for the free server transfers on the 15th.

Also having this problem. Only just occurred to me after I downloaded a small update (haven't been able to play in a few days). Didn't have the problem before, not sure why it would suddenly spring up NOW.

Why would they not put this on the launcher? And WHY is this during prime time?
it says All Words Maintenance right there in the launcher.
and it isn't Peak time for them.
I'm tired of this. I have to beg for the boot folder from people who doesn't have the issue.
Same problem here, just started tonight. Tried all the suggestions here, nothing works. Really getting tired of how buggy and glitchy this game is - been one thing after another since Beta. Never had so many technical problems with any MMO - or any game, for that matter.

i have had this problem a few times but i just relaunched and it fixed. after this patch or whatever it was, the problem will not go away... even tried system restore and reloading the patch or launcher update or whatever it was... not sure if i want to pay a monthly sub for this... seems like a waste of cash, but i really like the game. though a magitiek class would make it better. gunblades for the win haha... seriously though square fix this mess!!!!!!!!!!!!
The servers are down . you cant play if you wanted to .
It's possibly not an error at all. It could just be that they aren't allowing contact to the patching server yet. It could also be that traffic is high and it's funneling people.
it said servers down a while ago but it did not say it anymore... hopefully that is my only problem
They are patching the game, so it's not weird that your client, which probably ain't patched, can't properly connect.
There is still 2 or 3 hours of maintenance to go (daylight savings has me all confuzzled).
If you check the maintenance notice, it says that it is a 6 hour long maintenance, longer than the usual ones, which is what I think if confusing a lot of people.
It's probably confusing people that the text "maintenance 15-okt.. blabla bla" isn't in the patcher anymore.
But you can check the server status when you press the World button in the launcher. As long as your server is "offline" or "maintenance" you won't be able to log in!
It just started working for me after few failures.
Was getting the same "unable to blahblha"error, ran as administrator,something updated now it finally turned pink/purple the world icon and just says unable to log in while maintenance instead of the green play button.Now we just wait until the worlds are back up.
Updated some .net updates through Windows Updates and now it's working. Patching server came up at approximately same time though... so answer is unclear.
However, if you are looking for something else to try update through Windows Update.
My game just patched no problem after getting the "error" message several times before. Seems I was right with them not opening the patching server up yet but everyone should be good to go now.

I still can't seem to patch. Getting the [30605][20447] error.
Got the update and had the exact same problem with the version check. Opened the launcher through programs instead of via desktop and was told the game was under maintenance again... A maintenance to fix an error caused by an earlier maintenance, maybe?
If you're using Windows 7, try to turn off your UAC setting then restart your PC.

Win7 user here - Opened the client as administrator. Updated just fine. Still downloading now. Will update.
What I did works. I'm in-game now.
Hotfix did nothing. Just ran CM & AK, getting 100/70 Phil respectively and 40 Myth from AK, they don't feel any easier or harder.
I wanted to get the update before I work today and it stops about half way through an said there was error. And I am playing on the ps3
I am also getting this error.
I've tried everything mentioned in this thread except for reinstalling (all of my files are read-only, but whenever I click it off and hit "apply" it just goes back to read-only again).
My fiance and I live together, we own the same model laptop with the same insides. We are on the same ISP, same connection. His updated just fine.
Any thoughts?
For PC users: I have updated the boot.zip file again. Download it and replace the "boot" folder in your game installation directory. Let me know if it works.

After logging, I get the error code "Unable to Launch FINAL FANTASY XIV Updater. [11035][30425][30415][1392][19900][1392]" Is anyone having this issue as well? I tried re-installing but the same error keeps me from launching the game.
