you can exit crtl alt deleted, or turn of console if in play station. Be patient this kind of things happen all the time when a new mmo opens. There are other quest you could do in the meantime.

I agree, it's ridiculous of them to discriminate against NA/EU group only because JPN is in the peak hours. FUCK THAT, we deserve the same service like everyone else.

This and the fact that JPN has 25 servers and EU/NA have 25 server divided between them is ridiculous.

ALSO: Why is there no information about the fact, that i can't continue my STORY QUESTS AFTER THE UL'DAHN ENVOY... I've been waiting for 10 hours to hear something about it.

Please fix this now. It is pointless to wait when people really can't play properly anyway. you may fix it during peak hours but then nobody will be waking up at 6am to play anyway. I would rather be playing by 4am.

You realise that it's NA Peak Time that they don't want to interrupt, right? Pacific time, specifically.

The maintenance will be hitting at 4PM Japanese time. That's entering their peak time. So yeah, try using your head a bit before jumping to the conclusion that you're being discriminated against.

That said, *signed*. In circumstances such as these, updates & maintenance should be rolled out as soon as possible.

It would probably help speed up the process if everyone would stop trying to log in while it's broken. :X

Personally I would love them to do is asap, but if it just is rushed and wastes 5 hrs like the first 2 emergency maintenances then by all means test the s*** out of it first before you pull the game down again. At least I can go craft or something, sure it isn't super productive but still it is something.

Went to bed early when last maint started so I could get up early and all would be well. Up at 6.15am thinking things would be fixed while was asleep damn bad news more maint when eu folk are just about to wake up for new day :(

I love how many people think fixing a bug is as easy as turning the servers off for an hour or two and typing in some magic words and then turning it back on. Maintaining an MMO is alot of work MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE. This is not SE's area of expertise they are trying to fix so many problems that are not by any means "Simple Fixes". If you know anything about programing you would be telling them to take their time. Stop being like children who's mommy wont let them have desert yet... i have yet to run into any bugs myself but if you do run into some USE THESE FORUMS TO GIVE THEM THE INFO THEY NEED TO FIND THE PROBLEM instead of going into rage mode because said problem wasnt fixed yet.
A friend of mine cant get his SE account to link to his PSN account constant error of "Server Busy" (im not at his house so i cant really tell what exactly but i told him to post here)
Another one Preordered the PC version only to get a PS3 "code" and cant even download the client (these need more information on what is causing them instead of people just whining about them if i could get the information i would be posting the error codes with the what i did and any other information i could find)

TLDR? Stop whining that you cant play its only putting pressure for them to rush and lowering the quality. Instead post useful information so they can use it to help find the cause.

Yeah stayed up for 2am this morning to play, got screwed over by psn pre-order CE fiasco. Finally got code at 11pm, re-downloaded game since i thought i had to, Got installed at 12am, doing the 2.5gb update now after which i'll have to wait till 3am. That'll be an entire 24hrs lost. I'm tired as it is but i am hellbent on not wasting anymore time....PLEASE no more i can't take it!
