Instance trouble

Same problem on Behemoth. Can't progress on main questline.

4 beta phases and still a mess. Very frustating. There are silly people saying it's not the release, but we payed with real money for an early access and we are not fully having it.

Still getting the same. Cant enter quests.

Same on Ragnarok while doing "Trial by Wind quest", now stuck on a loading black screen, cant move, cant log out...

Siren...Can't do lvl 20 THM quest

cant do magiteck fight....

Happening on Goblin as well again; same issues as before maintenance. Stuck on black loading screen

Pretty obvious it's a congestion problem. Boatloads of people trying to do instances all at once, and the servers are getting killed.

same bug as beta 3 and still here.... losing hope

SE hasnt given any recongition to it glitching again. It impacts the game quite a bit.

It's a brand new game, not even fully released yet. Every new game has a ton issues at the very start, It's to be expected. They can't be foreseen, you just have to deal with the problems as they come up. It sucks, yes, but there's nothing we can do but have faith and wait. Just be patient, it'll all get worked out.

So I am stuck with about 20+ other people at the Lord of Inferno single player quest

Stuck in another world; no duty finder or any instanced content- same as 90k error phase4

Regarding the Instance-Related Issues (Aug. 24)
While we were able to address the previous issue wherein players were unable to access instances, we conducted another investigation and confirmed that the issue was ongoing for a number of players.

We have been able to identify the cause of the issue and have started the recovery operations. Once we have tested the fix, we plan on conducting another emergency maintenance. We will follow up once we have a better idea on the time frame of the maintenance.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

can initiate quest with NPC and get "Proceed" button. But character either locks up to where can not even log out or I get the "A system error occurred during event movement"

What was the point of a 2,5 hours downtime if the problem is still there? I am still stucked on the main questline and can't progress 'cause of duty server problems.

We are paying for a beta disguised as "early access". I really hope we get a free play time compensation after our 1 month free period. It's sad to know that some bugs exist since phase 3.

Cannot connect to duty finder, character becomes stuck when trying again.

This error continues to be experienced on the Adamantoise server as well.

The symptoms are the same with Duty Finder connectivity timing out.


There is no excuse for this. Please resolve this and account for the population your game has acquired.

Experiencing the same issue on Lamia, gave me an error, tried again and got stuck sitting there "occupied".

Cannot connect to duty finder, getting stuck when trying. Got through once, killed the first 3 mobs, then it did not progress and I had to force close the game to get out.

Underneath the Sultantree Instance unable to enter. I'm level 9 now and. I can't feel bothered to hit 10 because I can't complete this and get to the job change stuff.

Same for me in Hyperion. I'm sure it's the whole server?

Trying to do the lvl 34 gladiator quest instance, and so far it rejects me every time. Saying "cannot find a duty finder". I've restarted, relogged, and rezoned.

Also cant get into the quest here, just freezes and never loads

Been getting this error on every class quest. The main story, I was able to complete one Sylph instance fight (with the Malboro) but the next instance fight further down the story line... I had to alt+F4 and now currently unable to get back on FFXIV.

I understand the FFXIV team is doing everything they can to fix this issue, and I decided it best to report in a current thread than spam the forums with the same topic. Here's hoping this gets resolved before launch! :x

Chasing Shadows instance is broken. Unable to continue to main quest. Keep getting server error.

Same for Balmung, Tried to do my level 10 glad story qeust and go the error that said duty server not responding please try again later

Happening with any instanced story quest.

I really hate how they have designed the game around instancing. It'd be one thing if just the dungeons themselves were down, but even a majority of solo class/main story quests are instanced-based which really halts progression. Yes, I could go grind regular quests or FATEs, but story/class quests are far more interesting. :(
