NA PS3 Players with Collectors Edition Pre-Orders in PSN

At work. have same issues as you guy's. It's making me sick to my stomach. Hopefully it gets fixed ASAP. Feel for you guys sitting in front of TV patiently waiting....

btw preorder items are confirmed to be available the 27th. I don't have link but i read it on other thread.

The point of the refund was to "officially" pay for the version they're supposed to send us.

The whole purpose of our refund wasn't for us to repurchase something we already did purchase. It was to compensate us, we were told to wait for a message with a free copy of the game.

Canceled my pre order from GameStop after finding out the CE was on PSN. Now we're here. Wanted to show extra support by get'n tha CE. Now we're here. I'm not mad .... (I've had a real stressful week so I'm out eating breakfast to keep me chill from this mishap). I did get my refund but did not see a message yet. Will check when I get back home.

I'd think that if they were going to refund us to repurchase the game, they'd allow us to repurchase the copy we bought before. When I try to get CE, it says I already have the game, even after I tried uninstalling it. So it's obviously server side. Besides the fact that the folks that got standard and got messages got vouchers, from what I understand, that let them know about the refund and gave them a specific code to enter so that they could still play without having to repurchase the game.

The guys that bought SE got the full refund and then a XMB message with the free game. They didnt spent nothing like some are wanting us to do

i say those of us who pre-ordered the CE on the psn should get an additional in-game item, a t-shirt that says "i pre-ordered the CE on the PSN and all i got was this lousy t-shirt"

This is not turning out at all how I thought today was going to be.

So we're getting penalized for buying the digital Collector's Edition over the standard. How lucky are the standard edition customers that had their issues resolved before 2:00am, simply trading in a few hours of uncertainty but still getting in for early access AND a free copy of the game to boot? I'm feeling passed over here.

I suppose it's nice to be immediately refunded where my PSN wallet is concerned, but really-- I just want to play FFXIV. The money was spent for that reason.

You'd think we'd be the ones to get the problem solved first seeing how we dropped 60$ for this game

Yeah this is saddening to say the least, game got me excited even with the 6+ hours i was locked out of for phase 4. I've been collecting info and videos and been making my FC website all ready for this release and here i am just staring at my XMB with friends playing and i slept early to wake up for this. Oh well. I guess when my friends have their fill and are sleeping it'll be my turn...maybe.

I'm going back to bed. Hopefully they'll have gotten this mess sorted out by the time I wake up again. Good luck, everybody.

Those come after the 27th but I'm not sure if you'll be getting CE now that you bought the SE.

Yeah CE items will be available aug 27 for release but now the real question is do you still get them?

I want to go to bed and hope this will be fixed by the time I wake but I slept before hand prepared to play. I could go back to sleep but I feel like this won't be resolved unless people say something about this.

And without a doubt the name I wish to use wil be taken and the server my friends are on will be full yet again...
I'm going to bed in aboutn3 hours ill check up on this again. I feel that nothing will be solved until the game comes out if its fixed today it'd be a miracle

Hey, i wanted to get physical CE, you're lucky in the end but as of right now... physical or digital some of us are in the same boat. What a sad day for gaming.

Is there anything besides posting on the forums that would help expedite the process? Or get us notice by someone of importance?

Some people took off work for early access, or made room in their schedule expecting a day of awesome gaming that will run through the weekend.

Instead, they stare at their xmb patiently awaiting a message from SquareEnix with no estimated time of arrival. While adamantly browsing the fourms for an official response that can't be found. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Stuff happens, we get it. But this is really, really disappointing.

I'll call Sony support when their hours are open. Don't think square enix can help much besides getting on Sony's case. I've put in support tickets if I can figure it out.
