PC download changed to PS3

its almost 3 am here give me a fucking break

So I ordered my code through the square enix code and had the same problem.. tried 2 hours for the PC code and turns out it was a ps3 code.. Anyone have an update on this? Or am I pretty much screwed now? ._.

It is almost 1 am here, plus I worked for 8 and a half hours.

try to get a new one from amazon i duno

why are you so pissed about 4 days of early access it sucks but its not the end of the world.

try tog et another pre order code and ill get you the 20 digit code you need

Because this shows how SE will handle things post-launch, if SE can't handle something so simple, what do you think will happen when this game finally launches when they come across a serious problem which could cost them the game?

they never had any issues with game stuff in ffxi ... playonline kinda sucked tho. This is only a pre order issue anyways it doesnt reflect on the game

Everything SE does in and out of the game reflects on how they operate themselves, even if it is a simple item, could cost them A LOT of money in the long run.

This is pretty dumb, I tried for 3 hours to get my code to work for PC and then the 1 time i clicked ps3 to see if I got the wrong code... Turns out I did get a ps3 code and now I'm pretty much fucked and I'm stuck with a registered code for ps3 and not PC ._....

No, you couldn't fix my issue, simply canceling my order, and re-ordering it will not solve the problem, this is something SE has to handle, doing it your way, could exhaust the early access codes, this way I get an early access and possibly a free game, by waiting it out.

Since I already reigstered the key I was given which is apparently a Ps3 key.. am I still able to cancel my order and just try to get one from amazon or will that fuck everything up? Someone halp me xD

you can cancel but it seems the redemption site is out of 20 digit codes could be the reason why you got a ps3 code instead : /

Thing is, I bought my game on August 19th, I should have higher priority over those who bought the game after the 19th.

Hmm.. So maybe I should just wait it out and maybe I'll get some free game time or something out of all this because this is a pretty big mess up for them to do... I'm not terrible upset I miss the early access.. But this is pretty ridiculous.

Add another name to the list of people who were sent a PS3 code when they ordered the PC version... I only hope that this is something SE will be able to "fix" for everyone who received a product they did NOT order, but then again they seem to be having one issue after another crop up in their "Realm Reborn" so far, and, while I DO understand that any MMO, freshly minted, is going to have issues.... Something such as sending people a code for a system they did not specify when ordering (in my case, from SE's own NA website no less) for whatever reason is leaving me with a very bad first impression.

I'm getting the same error... and when I clicked ps3, guess what? PS3 code instead! D:

you havent recieved aproduct just a early access code thats it you wont have the product code till the 27th or so

Tempted to cancel my order and get a new one.. But I'm taking ezio's method and hoping I'll get something for all of this by waiting it out...

Has anyone had any luck with this sort of thing yet? I've put in an e-mail but I really doubt I'll hear anything anytime soon...

So pretty much just cancel my order and get one off Amazon and I'll be able to get into the early access or what?

Wow, I thought I was the only one having this issue. I tried to register for the PC version since I pre ordered it for PC but it gave me error 3. Then clicked on PS3 to check if I got the wrong code and BOOM, they gave me a Playstation redeem code. Guess I just joined the "stuck-at-PS3-version family".

Bump. Same problem and I'd really like to see this issue resolved, and I really doubt I'm hearing back from SE on this one until launch :(

They got my ticket and said it will take 2 business to hear back from them.

Yeah... I'm pretty much thinking of Cancelling my order and just ordering the game from amazon.. And when I hear back I'm just going to explain that I didn't want to wait because I paid to get my early access so I want what I paid for lol.
