...when you get in line with your paladin husband and have to wait and ask him "What's this garbage!? Instant Que us foo!"

when you try to Change your Job switching your Main Hand Item

When you go to the store and ask how much gil something is, or you try to convert local currency to gil.

You cosplay your character

You develop a crush on an NPC

You think real life is a game and the game is real life...

Ok, those last few are actually kinda scary.

When you pay ridiculous amounts of money on things you don't really need just to fill in time - I need a new MMO mouse for FFXIV (buys Logitech G600). I need a new mousepad for FFXIV (buys Razer Goliathus). Better get a new HDMI cable just incase I need to use PS3. Better get new headphones for FFXIV (buys Logitech G430).

When you get hurt and you try to cure yourself by throwing a random object to the air waiting to heal you.
When you don't change your clothes for 3 days so you can get spirit bound.

When you start looking for your chocobo in your garage.

You wake up with a keyboard imprint on your face.

When your message on Facebook, or other sites, starts with /l

When u blow a whistle and think your Lawn mower will appear under u!

you play too much when you make threads like this about a game you can't even technically "play" yet.

...you begin IRL crafting (my leatherworking skills have gone up. also i just recently made maple sugar from maple syrup)

When your song choice for cleaning the house is the Gridania theme.

You start asking yourself, "what the Market value is for my old gear?"

When you start thinking about people you know as different "jobs", and almost comment if someone isn't doing things "right".

I'm new to the game so I can't exactly say that I played too much yet but for the sake joking around:

When you quit eating chicken because of chocobo's.

When you see a bright blue lamp you start reaching out and pretend to attune to it.

When you hold different things in your hand you feel like you're changing class/jobs.

When you watch fantasy movies or series and start thinking about the classes or jobs of each character.

...you press triangle in other games to jump, but it opens a menu.

When you refer to your friends by their gamer tags rather than their actual names...while talking to people who don't play XIV.
