But they have to be to strong, really really strong.

im with you on this, i dont want this game to turn into Final Fantasy All Stars! but if i had to have one char above all others it would be Vivi from IX. I feel his story could very easily be linked in with the Thaumaturge guild.

Id prefer they focus on more original bosses and story however. Let Eorzea have a chance to be its own fully realized thing like Vanadel got to be. Something that can stand on its own.

I have to entirely agree with you, The Weapons themselves would be Epic FATEs.

Hmm... how about a dream triggered special story for example the time Squall was unconscious and dreamed about Laguna which we end up playing as. Not necessarily must have characters from other FF.

Gilgamesh and Cloud of Darkness were both in the artbook with my CE, so they're definately getting in. I also saw what looked like an upright multi-headed wolf in The Emperor's outfit. I couldn't make out what the others in that section were meant to be, if anything.

EDIT: After looking a few things up, it looks like I was wrong about it being The Emperor; it's Queen Scylla. The others are Amon, Acheron and Xande. A veritable menagerie of FFIII bosses.

We also have Ultima Weapon, courtesy of the Empire's Magitek. Looking forward to that one!
