We, as a community decide whether or not we become toxic. It's been a serious issue with many MMOs due primarily to Trolls and Elitist. I'm hoping that doesn't happen here due to the fact that a lot of us here aren't just here for an MMO but rather a Final Fantasy Experience.

I'm staying up for Early access, anyone with me?

I'll be staying up for early access too. Will be rolling around Ul'dah in my Thaumaturge.

You're not missing much, except a lot of frustration.

Emergency Maintenance is a good thing, I get to take breaks and get food and all that. :) Good launch so far with playability and trying to fix issues!

Uhhh, you might not want to publicize that on the forums. The NDA is still in effect until Launch. SE tends to hunt down this stuff, and since you posted a link, it is probably best to not stream it until launch.

Sadly only issue is the Duty Finder dying to so much stress from so many people trying to do their quests and instances. Otherwise, still a good time!

Yup issues with the Duty Finder. Can't do the main quest. Painted Mesa is bugged and can't do my Marauder quest as well. Have to wait for the other Maintenance I guess. Hope they fix it! :)

Eh, I guess it's good that so many have positive attitudes. I don't think one should "need to get their mind right" to have fun in a game. :P

It's somewhat funny. In most MMORPGs I play I have no interest in guilds (because my friends and I make a small one for ourselves) and despise guild spam. For FFXIV the plan is to join a guild to have more opportunities. And there's almost no guild spam going on right now!

Need to find a NA guild that's ideally PST, relatively mature, with few/no idiot flagged players, and that'll be doing whatever endgame ends up being.

"idiot flag" if you're not familiar is giving your avatar a "clever" / dumb name, blatantly ripping off popular media, etc. We have Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, and other "celebs" on Ultros! Along with Jack Mehof and other wonderful folks. I'd rather not have anything to do with players like this. I wish MMORPGs had visual ignore so I could just mark them to be blacklisted for both chat and viewing.

Public chat has been brutal too. Rape jokes, gay bashing, and more. Things I expect in F2P but not so-much in a premium game that should have GMs. Great stuff from the "community." I see lots of folks here and elsewhere saying what a great server we're on...and I didn't think this game had instances or phasing for zones so I'm surely experiencing something different. I guess the "good" tend to not stand out as much as the loud and obnoxious types.

People complain about subs but I'd honestly pay double to play on a "mature" server with more intense GMing. I guess I'm getting old(er) - I have an increasingly low tolerance for stupidity.

world full anyone? sigh...

what happened to the queue? i would much rather see i was number 3000 in a queue than have to somehow magically figure out when the world is not full

Unable to load worlds from na and eu and got the world full too so I can't play. I'm currently playing on the Ultima server (Japanese) but it's not the same D:

Well I didn't get to play at all today sadly but I am not angry at anyone just angry that I didn't get to play this awesome game on my last day off. But I do have one thing that I know everyone is thinking of...and this is Early Access and all the servers are bogged down to the limit what about all those people who didn't pre-order and are waiting to buy there copy on Tuesday? I know the amount of people will die down or maybe not after the free month has pasted and people have to sub.

BUT...This is a huge issue that I hope SE gets leveled out because I bought the PC Collectors Edition and I want to play this game just like the thousands of others out there, and I know we all want to make more than just one character and keep all of them on one server...Ultros but if the server is maxed/limited we can not create a new characters that fact is pretty frustrating.

They need to put a limit on there servers per accounts meaning that the server would have a limit of 100 player accounts but could handle 800 characters on the server even though only a 100 of them are online at a time. (8 Character slots per server) Another thing they need to do is open up like two to three servers and let us move our characters over, everything is still so new this wouldn't hurt anything.

This game is and will be huge the open beta was a huge success with numbers wise broke records but because of this it very quickly overloaded the servers, we do have to keep in mind we are dealing PC and PS3 and later next year PS4 users logging on.

I know I am venting but hey that's what the forums are for right? lol I just REALLY want this game and our server Ultros to be active and fun and run smoothly. I have a lot of new people to meet and already have done so but if I can't log in I can't communicate with them... :(

The servers are our life boat and until they distribute the amount of people evenly, put limits on the servers, and open up new servers then our life boat is going to sink and we will downed in boredom and people will leave and I know for a fact this is SE's last attempt at a FF MMO and they need the return financially.

I believe in you SE, you've given me hours of awesome game play with the FF franchise and kingdom hearts series and you've made a wonderful MMO that has been my dream MMO for years now! Get it done and get it fixed to run smoothly for years to come! Best of Luck and God Speed!

It really is a shame that these issues are so persistent :(

These issues are going to be issues for awhile. They didn't expect the numbers to be so high, so the server's aren't big enough to handle all the unexpected people. They are fixing them up to be able to by next week thankfully, but until then, we are going to have to put up with it for awhile. :<

i bought the game on day of release and cant even log in to Ultros or any US servers. There goes the limited free time to play before having to buy subscriptions to continue >.>

why not extend the number cap already please!

I really enjoy playing on Ultros, y'know, when I'm actually able to log in. Been on Ultros since phase 3. Feel free to say hi if you see me about.

They are working on increasing the cap right now. They said they should have it done early next week.

Hey, hey! Having a great time playing on Ultros so far! See you guys in game. :)

Glad to be apart of the server! So far the community looks great, I haven't had anything but a pleasant time with people on the server. Even the /shouts in the more popular zones tend to be absent of trolls and the like. Hope the community can stay close knit, it's pretty nice seeing familiar faces in cities all the time. I'd like to get to know more people, so if anyones looking to make connections feel free to message me in game.
