Yeah if they run it like XI, back when it came out I believe it stored for 3 months of inactivity, then 6 months, and now I don't think they erase at all anymore, I would imagine they wouldn't be erasing at all with this game either.
Also I doubt there is any specific time you -need- to enter your code on the 30th, since the game comes out on the 27th, I'm pretty sure you can register at any point from the 27th and on. They're just giving some breathing room for those that happen to not get their physical copies on the 27th.
What time does early Access start in the UK?
Hi Bayohne, im a 1.0 player and i had been playing beta up to phase 4 and i know i will be into EA > game without problem, but since i'm 1.0 player i don't have the "ARR game" itself
So in the future, if i need to replace my pc or thing like that, is there a way for me to download the game again ? or should i go ahead and buy one just in case........
THANK YOU for the good work you guys did ^^
Is there any way to move a registered service account to another master account? I had the FFXIV ARR 1.0, then bought the pre-order of 2.0 to get headtstart. But I wanted my brother to use the new 2.0 service account. unfortunately I registered the 2.0 service account to my master account, which overwrote my 1.0 account. I want to move the 2.0 service account to my brothers master account, yet retain my 1.0 account. Please advise.
You don't.
Non-1.0 (new) players have until the 30th to apply a product code from the box, which gives them an extra 30 days.
1.0 players (legacy or not), have until the 10th to apply either a product code from the PS3 version (which will give them an extra 30 days) or payment information of some sort (cc / time card / crysta).
And since nothing is required to play until those dates (aside from pre-ordering or being a previous player), you're fine...
Now wait a minute.
Physical bundle people have a "full retail registration code" they have to enter by the 30th.
So what about electronic versions? I just realized there are no mention of such a code at all.
The only code given to us (for example I bought at Square Enix NA eStore) is the 18-digit preorder code.
After we redeem that, we get the 20-digit code which grants us the "preorder bonuse ingame items".
And that have been it, with no indication on our secure account management that we own the collector's editions items.
When and how are the digital collector's edition players going to get this "full retail registration code"?
Hello, I have a somewhat related question, please.
How do multiple FFXIV services on the same SE account work with logging in on the same client?
I have 2 accounts registered, but I use the same SE account login for both to get into the game client, but it doesn't ask which service to pick after that.
Oh no! My account at Amazon says it hasn't even been shipped! It's scheduled to arrive between Aug.30 and Sept. 4! What if I don't get it until Sept 4?
