So I'm trying something out
I read that some people say they added a change to the game file on psn or something so I deleted the saved data on my ps3 and then the game so I went to the store to re download the game and the description for the game is nothing like it is the second time I do it it mentions the EA it could've said that in not sure i did back on the 14th hit X like crazy cause I was about to be late to work so I'm just going to wait the 94min to dl the game again and see if there is any change

yea you dont need a code no more for the ps3 after if you purchased after the Psn update they add the code automatically to your Psn account, check your service list it should look like this

This problem occurs with people who pre-ordered during Aug. 13-15 only.

I haven't had a chance to go home and try to update, but I purchased the game from the PSN store on the 13th and it says under service accounts that mine is active just like this screen shot when I checked it two days ago. Does this mean I'll be able to update client without getting the error?

I bought the game on the 14th and I just deleted all data of the game and re installed and after the patch it ask me to set up everything like it did on the OB and now I can't get past the sign on screen with out it saying no service account available

That's too bad... I was hopeful.

I'm just gonna wait it all and hope they fix it sometime today. There's already a 1GB update waiting for us, and I definitely don't want to be updating any time after 2am PDT tomorrow. From OB and now EA, it seems like SE and PSN are having some big problems working together.

Same issue. Bought it on the 15th (PS3 CE), and only for the PC EA since they don't have a digital upgrade available yet (I'm an original 1.0 purchaser). I'll be pissed right off if I spent $60 for nothing. What a waste. You would think SE would have themselves better organized for a launch than this, especially considering how woefully bad 1.0 did.

12 hours left for EA and 3 hours left in the working day, no updates... hmmmm...

Thanks for understanding but I honestly think everyone is tired of waiting.. the more the time for EA the more people getting excited or just frustrated for not having their answer at the right place.

Just got off the phone with Sony there giving out refunds but it can take up too 7 days looks like no ea for me. Whent and pre ordered from game stop again but the code won't work do to the fake ea that the digi gave me so I gess I have to wait till launch sigh

Then why do I keep getting the " No valid service account available" message. I ordered mine on the 13th from PSN, when did you order yours.

Now when you say "there giving out refunds" do you mean that's their solution? Or is that just what you chose to do?

If you ask for a refund they will give it to you. However, there is no official word. EA has not started yet. This will get fixed, if not today, tomorrow. If they can't fix it they will come up with a solution. We had a similar problem with Beta 4 and it was resolved a couple of hours before it started.

People are overreacting and foreseeing the worst. However, EA has not started yet. They still have over 10 hours to fix the problem.

That's Sony's fix that have no info on se at all. Knowing that I was get a refund I went a bought the other version of the game on psn and now I have quantity is now has a 1 next to it for the new stuff in my services menus

Hope it gets fixed tonight ><.....sigh....

I expect that its going to be a last second fix just like it was with the Open Beta, but I would love to actually be able to patch up tonight and know I can wake up and play tomorrow morning at 5am and not wake up, start patch and wait...

Sorry for ringing in so late but I'm still confused about something.

In that one preorder site, the login credentials its asking me for seem to be for a different sort of account (since it doesn't ask for the one-time password). What exactly am I supposed to use to log in here, the credentials of my 1.0 account? My friend is telling me to register a new account but that just seems weirder since I can tell that I am making an account for the same thing I already have and was using for 1.0 stuff.

Just to add more information, according to some friends, one who played in Japanese server during beta 4 everything works well and let it update, however other that played in NA servers got the error. I'm not sure if that's the problem or part of it but it is very curious and weird.

the update is they are working with Sony to get it fixed, same as it was with Open Beta. It will be fixed, and hourly we are still working on it wouldn't be done any earlier if they keep us more up to date. They will let us know when it is fixed, and I will be very shocked if it is going to be any time later then start of EA when it gets fixed.

They have not done us wrong with this yet, and I don't think this is the time they will start. 1GB patch will take ~15min or so to download whenever the issue gets fixed, so it wont cut into EA time much if its a last second fix.

I think the reason why most people are frustrated is because this is very similar to the same error that occurred right before Open Beta. Yes they might not have foreseen this coming up right now, but you would think it would be a quick fix since it's an issue with SE and PSN accounts again.

My guess is they didn't expect the clients purchased between when they were released and OB started (i.e. before it was taken off PSN and then re put back on when they fixed issue with OB) were not fully fixed. Given this is not likely 100% on SE side and they need to work with Sony to fix it again, this adds to the difficulty and time for the fix and makes it harder to update where they are (and or give any eta on fixing it).

While I'm glad I'm not alone in having this problem, it's a bummer how many other people do.

Hmmm. Guess that something is happening with our Digitals downloads from 14th-15h, now it is asking a code to launch the game and I went to Account Management > Transactions> Service List and my Early access has expired.

I'm having the same issue you. I was on gamefaqs.com and people are saying those who are having the issues with this were automatically refunded. I just checked mine and my wallet had $39.99 in it. Can you guys check as well?

Yes refunded and the standard edition is no longer available to purchase in the store... wtf.

Yup, i figured. I'm guessing we will have to repurchase it once PSN puts it back up. Maybe at midnight? This is really bothering me.
