which if you did a good job at separating real life and game life. shouldn't be a problem. Unless if you still want to expose your real life self with your gaming life. One should be prepared for the consequences.

Not everyone is stupid enough to plaster their r/l info across the net, I am one of the more careful people; hell my facebook doesn't even use my real name or contain any pinpoint identifying information such as cellphone number.

The stalker was a real-life friend, we knew eachother in real life (you know what that means, right?) well before any game.

Since you're so smart and all-knowing, you should probably have thought of that already. Seriously, how freaking rude.

(Probably wise to realise that not every problem like this starts because the 'woman' invites it.)
