It's your video memory. 512mb at least.

6962 on the highest possible (occlusion culling, low-detail models on distant objects, and low-detail models on shadows all turned off) settings at 1600X1000. Monitor's not big enough for much higher.

7533 with occ culling and low-detail shadows checked (because I don't care about those.)

First go, an updater popped up halfway through, dunno if that lowered the score since everything was ridiculously SMOOTH

If you open the folder and go to
ffxivbenchmarklauncher
The 4th and 5th line from the very bottom can be set to:
SCREENWIDTH=2560
SCREENHEIGHT=1440
Dunno if this will get accurate benchmark results but there ya go.

I7 3930K 3,4Ghz
SSD Intel 180GB
Asus P9X79Pro Motherboard
Gigabyte GTX690
16GB 2000mhz Corsair XMS3 RAM

Looking at other peoples PC specs, I am kinda a bit puzzled as how their GTX570-680 single cards and stock I5s etc gets alot higher score. Even a friend I know who has I7 3770 same gfx card etc gets 8230 on maximum. I am puzzled tbh if some component im using is bottlenecking or something :S

Its kinda sad to see how AMD card users are scoring so low compared to Nvidia even though the HD7970 wipes the floor with GTX680 is pretty much every other game.

I thought i would give my scores and computer specs to help anyone out that might want to compare. ;p

Settings 1920 x 1080 @ High settings (the rest default) -> Very High Score (6505)
Settings 1920 X 1080 @ Maximum Settings (default max settings) -> High Score (4800)

I was really surprised ... i expected it to be a little less visually appealing at the max settings, but it looked even better AND smoother o.O ... i wasn't expecting this and i'm really happy :)

SLI isn't supported with the benchmark, had the same results, probably will be fixed with later drivers and SLI profiles. See as you're a fellow 3900k owner, have you tried running at the lowest details and res to test the cpu scaling?

Me 2! but so far looks like the GTX680 (o/c) is the best card for it.
Not that im complaining i love my HD 7970 its still plays everything on max very well.

A 690 is basically 2 680's on one card. It wont use both, just one. You are running it with a basic 680 where the one high score was a OC 680.

It is not using SLI.

There's no fullscreen mode in the benchmark, so the window borders + program bar at the bottom might be cutting off parts of the screen. Beyond that though, I dunno.

I only have 1 GTX690 in my PC. But I guess the dual GPU cores on the card itself acts like a SLI doesnt it :p
