SE can sustain multiple MMOs fine. The problem is there's already 1 large and successful FF MMO and one they're trying to get out there again.

Visually I can't tell the difference, but we all played games long enough to know where a CS is and where is Actual Gameplay. What I'm trying to say is, the Graphics Gameplay wise look CGI-ish to me. That's why I said they look " Streamlined"

SE has done it before, so yeah. The only reason they even dropped FMO was because lack of interest or else they'd have been running FFXI, FMO and XIV/ARR.

If the same population XI had was playing FMO they'd be supporting it. XI made them the most money of any project and FF in general, you really think they'd shrug off the opportunity to make more money? SE isn't like other companies who've only ever ran MMOs, they make console games as well so they have plenty of divisions and people to sustain maintaining multiple MMOs.

You just proved my point. Do you know how much money SE has bombed on ARR? And they are still in development and will be for years, that is assuming it's successful. 1.0 wasn't and got a terrible wrap by the majority of gamers. Then they try to make an even bigger scale MMO for the PS4 which would cost a horrendous amount of money, which in turn would be a gamble as many people will see it as a ploy by SE to attempt a sad comeback. The point is they wouldn't make enough money.

I really want to see another FF game set in Ivalice. I really like that world.

I have a really good feeling that as others have also stated, It'll be Versus, but renamed as Final Fantasy XV

They didn't really say it was a new title did they? "We'll be announcing a PS4 COMPATIBLE FF game." So, not necessarily anything we don't know about already.

I hope this is a fast pace online game that isnt a mmo. Where you can drop into someone else's public/private game with a charecter chosen from the story.

They did talk about being able to play PS1-4 games, but duno how it's gonna work, if you can add games you got to account or something, then DL for free. Otherwise i guess PS1-2 games will be fairly cheep.

D3 for PS4 was very awkward, and silly end to the conference :p

Well Ragnarok was a low population server when i joined it end of Aug, i'm sure more people will join it, or you can hop on some other server with more people; i think that's what i'll be doing.

There wasn't any *Rendered CGI* it was all in-game; Pretty much all games they showed were tech demos of how the games gonna look when you play; So it's just cut-scenes, and game-play.

They did say it would be very easy to make games for PS4. So i guess it would only get costly, if you try to make awesome graphics, which will take time.

Because Square was near bancrupcy, and it was to be their last game...but it turned out more successful than they thought :)

Square-Enix is in fact running more than 2 MMOs, though the third is JP Onry.

And if you notice the release date, it was made and released during all the FFXIV bombing and being remade, so you can't justify that they can't do it because they have done it. It just isn't FF themed.

Now as for them making another FF MMO right now, that is pretty doubtful, but you never know. They always have Crystal Chronicles to fall back on for another theme while staying FF.

I suspect we will see an uncomfortable number of "Comming soon, for the PS3 AND PS4!"

does SE even have to rename Versus to put it on PS4, no they don't. SE has probably had the specs for the PS4 for at least a little while and that could be why they are delaying on Versus. Making it into an epic launch title for the PS4.

The biggest thing that has me interested is the Remote Play for games. In the past on PSP, remote play only worked for movies. with the PSvita it means you can play games anywhere. (like FFXIV when it is ported to the PS4)

I didn't see the beginning but I think they mentioned that the processor is x86 based. that's a plus for both FFXIV and FFXI.

I think Blizzard is using Diablo 3 as a test bed to see how many of their players are willing to use the new system. if it becomes popular then they will move on to their other "game". Square Enix, you might want to consider getting FFXIV and FFXI on board before they do that.

It seems most people might not follow SE and what they say? The problem is SE normally doesnt give accurate info because plans change too frequently.

According to all the previous information:
1. It could be the next main FF title according to the director of the dev team resposible for FFXII. The director said he was asked to work on the next main title. Most likely Ivalice related?
2. Its not FFvsXIII, they have said over and over the guidlines for its release.
3. Even though another Lightning Saga installment would be amazing, they said LR:FFXIII would conclude that saga.
4. Its most likely not going to be called FFXV because they already said they are working to remove the roman numeral from the title.
5. Also its not going to use the Agni's Philosophy according to SE.

That was the ultimate troll by S-E. I was sitting and thinking Versus XIII now moved to PS4, come on, say it!

I'm going to guess Shinji Hashimoto has completed his work on Final Fantasy Versus XIII and is prepping for Final Fantasy XV, or Final Fantasy Versus XIII has made the transition to PlayStation 4. Either way, it's going to be a painful four month wait until E3.

Whatever it is, I hope it's not a repeat of XIII. Please, please, anything but that. ._.

There were some parts like in Deep Down, like in the beginning they were talking around the fire, ( which was a Cutscene of sorts). Then it went into gameplay and the graphics stood the same.

Maybe the better term would be is that Gameplay is in HD?

That's still good though :p.

I mean with all that Power from the PS4, the gameplay has to look upgraded. :P

Um, I could've sworn that they also said they would not remake FFVII until they make a Final Fantasy game that is better than VII, if not, VII will be the last game they will make.
