Getting Big Boss or Platinum trophy in MGS4 is not easy.
Currently taking a break from it.
Now playing, Ni No Kuni!
Pokemon and World of Tanks has been my time killers. Almost to tier 7 lights on World of Tanks, and still building my ideal team with Pokemon. CURSE YOU RNG FOR GIVING ME SHITTY IVs!
I've been playing lots of things, but obviously cannot fill the void left from the outrageously long wait for FFXIV to be put back out.
Tera: Freakish graphics, and obscenely easy.
Guild Wars 2: Decent, but also too easy, and not a real MMO. By real MMO I mean there is no point to this game other than PVP.
Minecraft: No clue why it's fun, but it is. I get bored after playing for a few days though.
Dungeons and Dragons Online: The worst MMO I've ever played, I only play at the request of friends. It's just awful. Don't ever play it.
Age of Conan: It's a pretty good MMO, also boobs.
Assassins Creed 3: First AC game I've ever played, and it will be my last. I hated everything about it.
Far Cry 3: Pretty good FPS. I enjoyed it, and I normally don't like FPS. The story sucked though and the main character was a huge p***y.
Tetris: FTW

Don't let ACIII ruin your perception of the series. Many believe Brotherhood to be the best AC game, while I think it's good, I still like Revelations the most. Trust me when I say, Ezio's story is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than Connor. Which sucks, ACIII could have been awesome.
I've been really enjoying Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. The overall presentation is very well polished and it has a certain charm that's a breath of fresh air. Plus the music is just amazing. Other than that I have been able to make a small dent on some backlog games. Namely Tales of Graces F (another great RPG!) and Infamous 2.
I have been playing Star Ocean 4 and TF2. Fun fun fun funf unfunfunfufnnfujnfnfnfnsklafj.
"Don't Starve" on Steam

It's an indie game, really fun and cheap
Aside from that.. Pokemon
Ni No Kuni on PS3.
Lovely game. Recommend it to anyone who enjoys JRPG's.
just been playing black ops, got addicted to zombie nuketown. sadly waiting for the new DLC that has been out for 2weeks on xbox but they get a whole month b4 ps3 gets it >< but i'll be playing that till i'm bored and then probably open a gamefly account and rent a few games to run threw ...that is if i don't get ffxiv beta invite.
on side note i been working out with the insanity beachbody workouts and eating healthy(counting calories booo), but bam lost over 20pounds this month. guess the devs are serious when they ask you at the start of logging in not to forget your real life stuff. haha
Been playing heavy amounts of Guild Wars 2, which now results in me playing Guild Wars for achievement items in GW2.
Also been playing Dark Souls: Prepare to Die, and Sleeping Dogs
PS3 - Bionic Commando - Prince of Persia
I bought the DLC and re-activated my FFXI account (Seekers of Adoulin expansion out next month)
I play Final Fantasy Airbourne Brigade
I played and beat FF3 for Android phone
Oh and I played a sweet Game Boy Advance baulders Gate game.
Hmm... got into GW2 for a while. My Asuran may be cute.... but still can't compete with my Lalafell. Was fun though, and it looks like that F.A.T.E. system is taken from GW2's live events, at least I hope it is. Finally finished Pokemon White (version 1) lol. Working on version 2 now.
Have completed - Portal 2, Crysis Warhead, Alan Wake and have played tons of other steam sale games since XIVs been down. Currently im playing The Witcher 2, Skyrim and FFXIII-2, i'd like to complete all these before 2.0 is out but probably wont.
Started GW2 just because I've missed the feeling of an MMO. Well, I still miss the feeling, but cooking is bloody fun there :D
Enjoyed exploring a lot first, but got a litte bit tired by now..
That's why I also play AC 3 now, my first AC to play all alone! I think it's great, though the story doesnt seem very elaborated. Not even talking of the shi*ty controls on keyboard..
AC3 was one thing I filled some time with and I agree... it's probably the weakest AC in the series IMO, so as Lucke said, don't let that ruin the others for you or keep you from playing them. Ezio is indeed way more charismatic than Connor (I never could connect with Connor, he just seemed like a stoic jerk in most the cutscenes...), and I agree with Rainebow that they ruined what they already had for a pretty good control scheme in the previous games.
Other than that, I started up FF8 (which is a total b**** to get it recognizing the CD drive on Win7 x64 when not installed as administrator... there's a bunch of duplicate registry folders that don't actually effect the game >.<). I would always get to the end of disc 3 and then never go to disc 4 and finish the game, got too wrapped up in doing the sidequests.... so I need to fix that.
I also sprinkle a little Gran Turismo 5 here and there, wife bought me a wheel last xmas :)
lets see... been playing ffviii, ni no kuni, got drunk and bought ffvii for the pc and been playing that... bought theatrythm and been playing that plus crisis core and played and beat one play through of the new DMC finally got all trophies for ffxiii-2 started a new game of kingdom hearts... holy shit out of all the games i've been playing it's mostly been se ones... oh and a bit of oblivion and dragon age origins ultimate ed
About to finish Persona 3: FES, which is excellent, but before that I played DARK SOULS. Lots and lots of DARK SOULs. On all 3 platforms. Only 1 week until I'm back in FFXIV!
Been replaying FF's 6 through 12, Just finishing up some final side quests in 12, which should tie me over until the 25th, so I can't really complain (except for the fact that the 25th cannot come soon enough)
Here is my list:
War Z - Pretty damn buggy, but the whole suspense of not being to trust any player and killing hordes of Zombies while trying to contend with the rigors of a Apocalyptic environment to survive in is enough to keep me intrigued and interested. That and I have a few RL friends that play regularly.
TERA- Yes I know blasphemy, but i never gave it a fair shake, got to say. The combat mechanics are pretty fresh and interesting! and it is a Damn pretty game! It's not the level of FFXIV:ARR, but it's interesting. Story is pretty shallow and non existent. Oh and Climbing! Thats an interesting element, but wow it's so slow!
Guild Wars 2- A lot of good things about this game. Public quests, the jumping puzzles for skill points. All pretty interesting.
Skyrim - Yeah, the mods keep me coming back to this game! Plus new DLC keep dragging me back. Not unwillingly mind you! This game has so much depth, that it's hard to get bored with it!
But when the 25th rolls around? all of them are going on lock down for ARR :D Unless we have limited play times for Beta. Then I'll have to do something when I can't play FFXIV:ARR! lol
Path of Exile open beta. It's a good one.
I can't wait till they make a standalone for DayZ or a better WarZ, might actually boot battlefield 3 from my top FPS.Quote:
