It looks like it might be a huge scorpion. King Vinegarroon maybe? In any case, the beta is looking really nice and i'm extremely excited about it. Cannot wait to try the FATE system out! ^^

I count 5 Lalafells, 1 Miqo'te Gladiator, 1 Elezen Lancer, 1 Roegadyn Gladiator, and 1 Conjurer (Elezen or Hyur) ... in the process of healing the Roegadyn.

the fate monsters reminds me Buel from FFVIII with a scorpion tail uhm..

100% positive that is an Arhiman, and a Gnat is behind it. Those are the insect wings.

All I see in that fate monster is a phallic image... >.<

Battle scene looks cool though :D, Yoshida said he designed the fates so they are fun even though its a kind of grouped ungrouped content. Want to try!

well DMC seems not really to care about what a real succubus is supposed to be. (read the description)

Concept art and mini-screenshot women of sexy evil are both wearing the same "pants"

A couple things noticed in the screenshot:
• The succubus in it is the second one from the concept art. You can tell by the wand thing that is floating beside her.
• The succubus seems to be using a spell on the Paladin. Maybe it's a 'charm' spell?
• The location seems to be in some sort of a 'haunted' mansion, or cathedral.

What FF enemy are they fighting in Fate... seems like over sided/remodeled Ahiman to me.

weird... I thought they said beta phase 1 only have the classes that have guild at gridania... the seen-all eyeball did say it's the "soon-to-be-released Beta Version" tho.

If they are all part of the Dev team, I would hope they would get to use all the classes......


and the leg in the center of the picture- slightly to the right of the center actually- throws off my ideas of what a ahriman would look like.

I dont think its Ahiman... it could be Deathgaze from FF12 but reskined to be like Ahiman color.

It's understandably 1st person quality assurance when you test-run and have fun with your produce! I'm suspicious though if they're getting good at the game before us(and will they set the standard for challenges)?! XD

Great find, I think it's definitely Deathgaze from FFXII. The tail and wings seem to be an exact match and it even has the oval shell type thing on top. Here's a slightly higher res pic for comparison:
