I could but the WHM AF robe looks so warm and cozy. I wouldn't mind being able to put some chocobo or moogle patterns on it though.

Besides, even naked you still have a huge weapon in bed with most classes whereas WHM just has a little stick if you pick the right weapon.

I think it would have been cool to give BLM plush toys again, and their relic would have been Onion Knight.

I think the quoted comment being used as a base is more aimed at the 20's level under garment being the cut off. Meaning they won't be turned cosmetic, instead they will add higher levels. It will be more about material addition than design.

FF14 needs more designs but not under layers. It needs more everything. Color version 5 doesn't really count IMO.

XI and XIV had the most variety of armors out of many (not all) MMOs, this is ignoring recolored variations. A lot of MMOs just "builds on" previous armor sets to signify "Light" Medium" "Heavy" "Legendary" "Epic". Even the recolors in XIV had variations to the design.

Well Pantaloon is often used as a synonym for Bloomers, but you're right, technically these aren't Pantaloons. But in that event, Pantaloons aren't underwear AT ALL, so my point remains the same.

Only games where I crafted Armor were SWG and LotRO and SWG was kind of pinned to the SW armors but they had them all. LotRO has redonculous amounts of armors. Pretty much every faction has its own design, then human, dwarf and Elf standards and those are per heavy, medium and Light. Add in full player color options. That's the industry standard I set games by. FF14 is a close second for crafting on the merit of stand alone crafting but LotRO has it all beat to hel for diversity.
