Lune, Muta, Baron, or Renaldo Moon. :3 Well at least if I had to pick it would probably be Renaldo Moon. Totally unoriginal but it's not like I'd post my actual original thoughts up here anyways. Telling someone to not take a name is like saying "Here have this, I'll be upset but why should it matter? Nothing I can do about it but whine anyways."

On a side note it's cute and funny with all of the catty names in this thread, n_n.

As for FF names, it's really hard to find any of male cats. Here are some cat-related names in FF:

• Kino Ioka (I know Kino's not a cat, but he's cat-like)
• Gau Veldt
• Kuja
• Reeve Tuesti (also a Puppetmaster, as he is the man behind Cait Sith)
• Bestrald Larg and Druksmald Goltana (the White an Black Lions of the Lion Wars in FFT)
• Sazh Katzroy (obvious reason)
• Nanaki (probably too obvious)

This list has links to the FF wiki, in case you want history of the name. I'll ask some of my friends on the wiki if they can think of any others. Kimahri Ronso seems more like a Roegadyn name in my opinion, or I would have included that.

This is the longest part of Character creation process for me, trying to come up with a name i like that ISN'T taken. Having a first and second name really helps but there is still that issue. As well, most of the posts here have more than one name suggested so why not give a little assistance to the less fortunate.

The uncreatively gifted of our society need our help. This is a serious social issue that is terribly under-looked. So many people run around doing what everyone else is doing because they lack the expressiveness gene, it is not their fault! These poor people go through life just wanting to be unique, just like everyone else. Lets help raise awareness and help those who cannot come up with a name of their own and fight this terrible affliction and end the abuse of the uninspired. End the copyright exclusion!

Golly, you know, it's WAY easier to name a girl then a guy. IMO. Guy names are kinda, um, brisk and flat I guess? Whereas girl names are much easier to establish. Flowers, precious gemstones, a few months, several colours; why can't guy names be so simple and generic that easily fit as a name. Well such is the world. (All personal opinions so take it as you will)

I understand why some would be hesitant to share names because it is hard for people in general to come up with new stuff but several people go to my brother to come up with their names because he will look at a character and ask how you want it to be seen as and wordsmith you a name that is usually pretty sick. He draws inspiration from various sources and tries different combinations and alternate spellings to come up with names that are easy to memorize and very unique.

There are people out there who enjoy making names for people if you give them a little to work with, perhaps some of you guys should do that. People that will actually give names and not titles and silly stuff like some of the funny names or cat related names I or others have posted.
