Hmm... I'm not sure that is case... (Since I already registered in 1.0 beta) but ok, I guess I'll have to apply for it too...

Now i'm gonna be eagerly awaiting my invite. It says now recruiting, but that doesn't mean invites are going out yet is it? And does phase one start now in january or mid-febuary? Because before roadmap it was assured early january.
I just sent an app in excitement not reading anything lmao.... Even so, I want my dad or girlfriend to play with me in beta if i can + try out ps3 since im prolly gonna be locking myself in my room on the ps3 when release happens (my computer is in the living room)
Honestly, that sounds like a good idea to me. We legacy players, excluding the extras who made it in time (not to be mean) deserve to actually try out the beta. After all we did suffer through the crud from first launch and testing well enough. :3
Btw, was to lazy to read through all the posts replies. I applied for the PS3 one, how does that work? Do I still need to fully apply for the survey or just wing it and and do the email sign up?
so when exactly is Beta going live, or has it not been determined yet?
it was supposed to be mid-january orginally i thought, then roadmap bumped it to mid-feb :(
There was a delay in original road map. new roadmap has always been mid-feb.
You can read it here it's the last question:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/58180
so it says they want to start at end of january or beginning of feb, ok i missed that ty
In Reinheart's translation of Yoshi's GameWatch interview he stated there will be 5-10 worlds in phase one of Beta - that's a lot ^^ The interview was Dec 28th.
Aww dang it, I made one anyway. Weird, I didn't get an e-mail to inform me of legacy; however I did get the little red flag. Strange.
I doubt this, the roadmap says 5-10 servers will be up in beta 1. there were only 10 servers in 1.0 after the merge so beta should be able to hold every legacy account. And not all beta players will be logged in at the same time, also some players have more than one legacy account(and not all dual box).
Regardless, we're going to hammer the crap out of the download and ffxiv lobby/login servers pretty hard. That will be fun in itself. Haha. Wonder how big the client will be this time.
It's cool that we legacy peeps are automatic beta testers, and don't need to apply. I'm sort of confused about how that works though... Do we just get an Email from SE based on what they have on record?
They know who has been naughty or nice, they are chec...
oh wait wrong instructions...
They have a list of legacy players - they will give all those legacy players access to beta in their account at time of phase 1, no sign up required because they already know how you are. They will probably send you an email telling you where to go for install, and NDA signage (to fully login to beta client/access) - so make sure your email on your account is up to date and that your email doesnt think SE is spam.
You log on to the beta forums and they be information how to download the client you use your SE account that have legacy and log in to beta very simple. When it came to FFXIV 1.0 alpha/beta they send you a code KBFS,ID46 you know what i mean the normal thing.
this time it just flag your account into beta/alpha very simple and much better this time people can't sell the code without selling there own FFXIV account i know people did that for beta, alpha and people pay for it lol i guess this beta is more worth it huh lol.
Your SE account has all the transaction dates recorded, and from there SE determines your are Legacy or not.
Log into Lodestone, click "SE Acct Info" on lower left, login SE member area, "Select Service" on lower left, click "FFXIV", then "options list" and you will see all the important dates related to your FFXIV access.
Once SE is ready to start Beta P1, you will receive an email at your listed email address giving you all the necessary details related to beta testing.
