This is in a collection called "Distant Worlds: Returning Home" Its a 2 cd + dvd set of a live concert. Has Susan Calloway singing answers on the dvd and one of the cds.

I would love Ferne to tell us exactly how the lyrics fit into the lore, we have our speculation but an official word would be awesome (perhaps the original meanings and the current meanings.)

i've known most of the lyrics due to playing it almost 24/7 :P

I was thinking... if anyone in he forums is versed in the Ultrastar Deluxe adaptation of songs to be played in the game?

Because it would be awesome to have the version ala karaoke with the video so we can cry while we see how bad we really sing.

The CD set that is included with the DVD is the same music from the DVD, so the orchestra live version is the only CD version so far. The actual studio recording has yet to be officially released, which is a bummer.

SE, how about releasing it as a single? Either digital format or physical CD single (y'know, those adorable 3'' CDs that was the popular single format in Japan)

Also, is it really "helpless in our cries?"? I swear I can hear Susan sing "help us in our cries". Maybe I'm just crazy Lol

I meant OFFICIALLY lol. I know there's an alpha rip and its been uploaded several times to youtube. But SE has yet to officially release it on any CD or mp3, along with several other tracks.

There is a rip of it from the original alpha game files, but not going to provide direct link. >.> Easy enough to find on google ;D

Oh I agree completely. I mean the rip is good (my ears are nazis and only look for the best too), but I would much rather have an official release. THAT I will support 100%. Are ya hearing us SE? Give us a single! Maybe even a karaoke version!

Thanks for the lyrics. Watched the live performance of this song on youtube and loved it.

I too want to vouch for an "official" release of the complete song. Please have it on iTunes as well as maybe SQUARE ENIX Music directly. Just so people don't whine about how much they hate iTunes. They'll probably do that anyway.

Distant Worlds was a live performance. And from what I gather Susan does her piece completely out of memory.
Not going to complain of she moves about two words in that entire thing, it's actually a complex piece, specially that part.

Yeah its not uncommon for her to slip on a few words during a show. I still enjoy her performances immensely tho <3

The lyrics of this piece are so.... sad.

Susan is Hawt :D
