I have met you Mike and you're an incredible asset to the community.

I remember running Ifrit (hard) with you and you would insist on bringing people who've never done the fight before. Even though you were 7/7 you would still keep doing runs. During this time it was really difficult for inexperienced players to be involved with pickup parties but you seemed to always be there to help guide them through it. I made a lot of friends during the times of putting Ifrit parties together and you were the central person involved in that.

To you and Nopax Nopax, thanks for being such cool people.

Thank you but I'm nobody, really. I just wanted all the new players on our server who hadn't had a chance yet to come, have fun and not feel excluded. Plus, the fight was more fun that way. But it was the players like you, players that stayed and let them learn that kept it all together. Thank you.

I'm surprised I didn't notice this post before. I have to say Balmung has been an amazing server to be on and I loved being on besaid (though the people from Fabul being added was awesome)

Balmung was a great home when I came back to the game after my server, Fabul, had been merged. It was fun playing with all of you and I hope to make a bunch of friends in ARR.

Balmung pride! I completely agree with everything positive said. I love the server and all the interactions I have had on it. You people are phenomenal!

I remember when I first started back when the game was release, I was pretty lost and didn't really interact with anyone for several months. But then I started talking more when I joined my first linkshell and made some great friends. Partying with people and adventuring with familiar faces, Balmung is pretty much like a second home to me (as corny as that sounds). I would love to see and interact with all of you guys again as I kind of miss Balmung while we are temporarily on downtime.

Here's to making fond memories on this server and making many more in the near future!
