well maybe they will make it up to us that have been putting sweat and tears into this from the start guess we will have to watch the footage on you tube after its over 10 mins left now dont see me being a part of it . will still be long time player after this . just bummed .

I truly have zero reason why you think your words have weight and I should lessen tells my a lot about you A: I have been playing sense launch do I care I cannot get on just to have 1 last event to do with friends that would be yes. B: should I be mad that the dev team that should know by now whats broken would understand the problems most are have again this would be yes. C: Dislike me wanting better from those that are asking for my trust to make 2.0 better and seems to not learn from there mistakes tough.

ending event was a wild success imo.

I was partying my ass off with friends, nerding out, smoking myself silly all because Dalamud was making landfall, I've been looking forward to this fight since the final two weeks when rumor spread of a simulated opening battle during Meteorfall, and estatic when I heard that we'd also be greeted with the official GCI game trailer explaining what's happening [there's also another informative Live Letter]

I was feeling bummed, though not surprised, but realized something... I got my 1.0 Bucketlist finished, including killing Nael Deus Darnus, without relics, and claimed my White Ravens. Sure, I'm sad, but I'm already part of the Official Badasses Club, plus I've made friends, enjoyed the ride, and even after this event, there's more awesome things to come, starting with a damned explanation, stop getting angry at something we can do little about, asking for an extension may work: After all, Yoshida DID ask whether or not they should keep the server up so they may be willing for a day or two, for giggles. Silver lining @_@

I officially take back my anger that was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I'm gonna go cry again.....

BTW. if you didn't get in you didn't miss much. There were some imperial juggernauts, H1s, and soldiers in Brittlebark. Then we all stared at Dalamud and R0.

Epic Fail SE, thank you very much, But I am glad the self-rightious Rubicon got to see it, and come on the forums and tell all us who didn't to get over it!

Was barely able to get into the game, but I kind of had the feeling that would happen. I managed to get a few screenshots and such even though I was R0ing non-stop, but really it wasn't a terribly epic event. The video made up for that though. I also don't know if Mor Dhona was ever broken up into sections as much as other, more high traffic zones. I wasn't going into it expecting much other than killing some imperials and lagging like crazy.

I would think most people who might have been upset during the last 2 hour 'event' would agree that the video made up for it for the most part. That was all I really wanted anyways.

Remember when I said yesterday that SE would need to release a CS or video to make up for the failed event? Yeah, well... that happened. =P I'm glad everyone's happy now. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

I think we were all dissapointed by the lag, but most of us expected it. The video at the end was well worth it though. So what I didn't get fight the lvl 100 mob oh well. I think alot of us just wanted the last cutscene. I know most of my shell was on for that reason.

Would have been awesome to be fighting large groups of imperials alongside friends in Mor dhona, then seeing the same thing happen in the trailer. Instead I stayed awake until 7am to be greeted with r0s, error messages and black loading screens...

I think everybody has the right to be annoyed at having their final 1.0 experience go so horribly wrong due to a huge oversight from SE.

They should have had floods of Garleans roaming the land these past 11 days instead of random mobs popping in Ul'dah.

Were you notified up the upcoming GLobal phase alpha already? No? (looks at notice and status) that's a shame.

While the event was, interesting, sorta. Your post really has no merit. Yes some of us have played since the previous alpha and beta stages. Due to current server design some did nto get to log in for the final event. YEt saying Get Over yourself was a poor choice of words. Your ego flares and devides you. SO get over yourself and learn to treat others with dignity and compassion. May be difficult to make friends if you don't.
