Uh... Did you actually watch any of Inuyasha? She's serious. Naraku's not a demon or even half. I'm pretty sure you only have to watch like the first season to find out who and what Naraku is. Seems like a reasonable request. More options is more options.

Only hang-up there might be is if all Miqo'te gear (male and female) is designed around having a tail there. You'd end up with either an awkward hole where a tail should be (which could lead to unknown number of "emergency evacuation" type jokes). I don't know if they'd be willing to create an entire secondary set of leg garments specifically for Miqo'te without tails. That's an if. I don't know if that would be a concern or not.

Only if there's a 'prosthetic ears' head piece that's purely cosmetic and doesn't preclude the use of an actual helmet.

Also, Mi'Qote with no tail would be a problem for them because they would lose vertebrae and therefor movement ability/balance. watch a cat with no tail try to... no wait DO NOT TRY TO CREATE THE SITUATION

I'm guessing it's possibly an InuYasha reference. On a more related note however I straight out think having Miqo'te without a tail may just be too bizarre. First off, Miqo'te use their tails to assist in balance. I wish I remember where I read that again... And second, you'd still have the opening in back on all your armor for a tail. At most you can probably make your tail as short as possibly allowed but another thing to consider is SE's pretty big on the whole "iconic" look deal. Miqo'te are meant to resemble their Mithra counterparts and if you recall the deal with armor one reason to avoid allowing vanity to begin with is because they want your class easily distinguishable.

Now I know it's easy to argue the whole debate between Roegadyn and Galka, and personally it's beyond me why it's only Miqo'te who have tails. My guess is because a catfolk character without a tail would seem particularly strange is probably why they included it on them and not Roegadyn.

But just having the animal ears on top of the head is fine.

If I remember right, it was that Mithra and Galka were 'beast-like,' and the Shadow Lord was trying to get them onto his site. I remember that from my old strategy guide and/or playing the game.

It's probably already been said, but in case it hasn't, the migo'te had their tails turned off by accident because they were messing with the tail length or something like that. They will still have tails, and no you wont have the option to turn them off.

I don't mind a tail, but on some armors like whm AF I'd actually prefer to not have the back split open like it is.

They are the only "beast" race with animal ears. Maybe some of us want to have a race with just the animal ears without anything extra. I know I do. I'll probably make my male Miqo'te with a bob-tail, but I want him to have none so that he could look like a beast-human hybrid without the tail.

Naraku is the villain of the InuYasha anime and manga. I made my FFXI after him, but I wanted to be an Elvaan due to preference. Diabolos was the server name I was on in FFXI. I've explained it on the earlier pages, so I suggest that you read them.
