Is this under a normal situation? Or would it be with the Defense Down Debuff + Overaspected Crystal?
Hard to imagine that Storm LT Hooks VS Sphairai is an increase of 25%+ damage.

Without Crit Power, Spharai aren't hitting ridic HF on Mistress.
A solid setup using Garuda's Talons can easily outdo Sphairai.
Sphairai suck in 2 games now? Lol
It's been known to happen w/o those buffs/debuffs just don't expect it with reliable consistency, but alot of times if the MNK's wait till they get 3k tp before unloading that's usually enough time for the PLD to get a consistent hate build.
Typically my setup runs like this on PLD.
-Stoneskin myself before the portal despawns.
-Take the shortest route to Miser on the Right.
-Pop Aegis Boon before engaging.
-Run up and strike once> Voke > Phalanax (if she hits) > Flash > Spirits > Outmaneuver > Divine Veil > Phalanx/Spirits (If she missed the first attack), MNK's should be Engaged by now and building up 3k TP
-PLD Ramparts MNK's > Flash/Voke > Goring Blade Combo, MNK's should be using Weaponskills by now
-PLD keeps up Flat Blade/Voke/Spirits/Goring rotation while waiting for the Poison to drain everyones hp by 300-400 then Sacred Prism > Cure MNK's for a moderate hate boost.
-Save Flash after the 2nd or 3rd rotation, you'll want to use it on any slugs/giltraps that pop especially if you like to follow up with Invincible after.
On Riot Blade: Despite Riot Blades debuff effect being totally awesome, saving TP for it tends to be detrimental to holding hate, not due to the increased damage your MNK's and BLM's could do from the debuff, but because trying to build up TP for it leaves a big window for your hate to slip. If you happen to build up TP faster than you can use it, by all means use Riot Blade, however make sure Miser just got Stunned before attempting to use it, otherwise if she starts to use a TP move while you're behind her you can devastate your entire party.
TP shouldn't be a problem against Miser; what we do is have a bard prep Battle Voice Paeon before the ring disappears; this combined with Outmaneuver + Divine Veil should have you at enough TP too riot blade asap and have left over TP for Phalanx / Spirits within if you haven't done so already.
Lol, did this with garuda talons and no STR pots, Spahrai actually does less when it comes to blindside BFB howling fist, they are just stronger in every other things and that is what push your DPS numbers.

I am sure i have gotten 2300 somewhere, but it fluctuates around 2000-2200 with garuda's.
Normal for Miser I'd say. It's mostly the crit body (grid overcoat for most people) as Churchill said. DL Caligae and Eyepatch, Serpent Sgt. Choker, and Talons all help though.
I was using Lt. Claws before I got Talons, and my HF crits were 1800-1900ish. With Talons I've seen 2100 at least once, but 2k+ is more common. We use a WAR to tank Miser, so no def down debuff, but I do pop a strength potion at the start.
Generalizing, I would say normal is around 1600. A 120+ crit body would get HF up to 1800ish. Sphairai might be able to hit mid or high 1700s without the crit body, but that's just a guess (maybe someone who has them knows). My gear could definitely be better, so I would probably guess top end is 2.2k+ (without Def Down) if you're specifically trying to maximize HF crits.
Wow that's awesome. I haven't heard much about Crit Power since it was buffed. Last I saw is that you would need like 200+ Crit Attack Power just to get a little over the critical "floor" on a Lvl 56 Mob.
That sucks. So for anyone not part of Twin Adder, it's all about a Tripple Melded Body....?Quote:

When was crit power buffed? I remember it being mentioned, but I want to see what details were mentioned if any.
I've actually got my WAR maxed out on crit rate at 20% (really like 19.5ish% but close enough), but only when I swap out my good pants with a Coliseum Subligar that I put 9 crit rate onto. (I really want the imperial operative wristlets so that I don't have to do that.)
More or less. Crit atk is really the only worthwhile stat you can meld to body for monk anyway. If your GC doesn't have a decent body, that's the most accessible solution. But honestly, I wouldn't go out of my way to build for crit atk on monk. It's not like dragoon where you have multiple skills with increased crit rate on top of blindside. Seeing big HF numbers is nice, but I'd trade them for a Corslet just so I don't have to think about Sanciton ever again lol.
I don't think crit atk was ever buffed. The crit change I remember was in the patch back when dragoon's weapon skills lost their accuracy penalty. I believe all they did there was reduce the dLvl penalty in the crit rate formula though. Being able to significantly boost your crit rate against high level mobs got people interested in stacking crit power to complement that. It was a while ago, and I'm too lazy to go look for the post. I'm fairly sure it was in the patch notes though.
have you told your monks to have chameleon cause at best, when we our doing AV miser gets to Red in which we use chameleon. by the time i/we get red again its time to completly go all out to make sure he can run so everyone tries to stun lock her. We made a stun chain that works very well the pld obviously first as to not stop dmg outpuut with shield bash then the monks with pounce. It mostly always works unless its just one of those nights.
Ok, I can confirm that crit rate is not affected by dlvl as I've done quite a bit of parsing for crit rate. Whether it's worth stacking however still depends on what your fighting. Crits every 5 swings don't matter when you only crit for 1 more point of dmg over a regular attack (Ifrit AA dmg).
Still working on AV 17 Minutes (Best was 18 minutes so far) Almost getting Miser down before she moves.
On Paladin, can usually do ~12k Damage with 70 DPS (~10k if I miss dodging Bad Breath)
Going to swap some stuff around, to see if I can get close to 14k. Should be fun.
Starting rotation -> Throw -> Flash -> Provoke -> Divine/Outmaneuver then....
1) If Miser is able to hit me and I block then, Spirits Within -> Hallowed Ground
2) If Miser is Stunned (Shoulder Tackle/Pounce) -> Hallowed Ground -> Goring Blade Combo
1)w/Spirits + AA ~ 4200 Enmity
2)w/HG + Goring Combo ~ 3600
**Monk AA + Howling Fist Combo estimated at 3400 Enmity. So it gets you past that crazyness.
Then just continue normal rotation.
This is pretty much the only way I've found to generate enough Enmity to bypass the first wave of Monk attacks. A Fast Blade -> Goring, combo by itself isn't quite enough on it's own. Don't wait more than like 2 seconds to see if you can Spirits Within, otherwise Howling Fist will overrun you and when Miser turns, you wont get hate back easily.
Make sure to let the WHM know you are going to use Hallowed Ground. Because once it's up, you can Sacred Prism -> Cure at that point due to Poison Air.
Should be very easy at that point to keep hate. Most Monks should be yellow.
Edited: 14k not going to happen. Barely hitting 10k, Miser is going down too fast now. But, DPS is still between 70-80Quote:
