TGS Trailer ahoy!

I'm a bit worried about the maps, they just feel a bit less empty but still... La Noscea seems to look pretty much the same.
I hope they won't do that, again.

SE got too many problems, Same trailer from different camera angles... This shit worry me about A realm Reborn.

Okay got that out of me.

Blaming stuff like visuals on the PS3 about a product you know NOTHING about makes you look like an idiot. Don't even know how this was made. Entire video could be pre-rendered. I didn't even notice the flaws people mentioned the first time. I didn't notice them the second time until about half way thru. But WHY would you blame the PS3 at all? Everyone who said the PS2 was the reason why SE couldn't add new avatars, areas, expansions, etc to FFXI was proven wrong. Don't be proven wrong again.

Somebody just pulled (removed) the video. Probably a good thing. I can't imagine how SE didn't catch the choppy / low frame rate game video.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was just some technical glitch, but SE really needs to be extra careful to catch such things. We've already seen how quickly the "The game is doomed, DOOMED I SAY!!1" doomsayers appear (see above...).

Stop showing me forcefields, damnit. Either give Arcanist a forcefield or just quit it with that already.

i downloaded it before, but the framerate is still choppy... I hope they're fixing it..

Btw it would be nice to see completely different trailers..

We got:
-2 gc trailers with very similiar images,
- 2 gameplay tailers, and again, they're very similiar (also the removed one still has the same gc...)

I always assumed it was a sorta.. "CG" version of the Protect spell. Who knows if that's accurate, just my opinion though

Lol..I always get to these threads too late. The video is down now, and I keep hearing wonderful things about the music. The same thing happened with the Live interview..people were raving about the music. Are there any links still working that have this wonderful music playing?

Someone probably posted it too early. Or the uploader/S-E saw that the video was choppy during some parts and had it removed.

The video itself was meh.. a meshup of old gc trailer, already seen gameplay + just some second of new footage with very low framerate..

And the music were a collage too.. first part prelude, second part ff iv fanfara, third part a new music + the same chorus when ARR logo appears (the same of the old gc trailer).

Wasn't the music the same from the redid female voice trailer?

I'll wait for one that doesn't have low frame rate. My expectations of FFXIV ARR are already rocky.

Trailer was very "meh", same old footage. Maybe they got wind of the initial reactions and pulled it for an updated one.

Either that or it was just put up too early. I'm hoping for the former.

If it was from a random person, then of course the frame rate looks sucky XD. All the other gameplay footage were awesome looking, and all of a sudden this one is crappy. That wouldn't be a good business move by SE if that's the case. It's a good thing they did take it down.

It wasn't on the official Final Fantasy XIV page, so probably been asked to pull it down for now. I'd just moved over to my PC to watch it as the Playstation 3 only displays them in really low resolution, and it had been pulled. Alas, alas.

Really liked the music, couldn't make out much (if anything) in the video due to the pixelation on my TV.

I suppose there is always a possibility that the download/upload was corrupted somehow? I'll make sure to re-download it before posting it again tonight just to make sure for you guys- that seems to be a big issue atm.

They are going to remake the video before tonight XD

It's not a new thing for a trailer to show an FPS spike in it.

A few clips in it show a drop in framerate. I was mostly just asking on the first page just to make sure my phone wasn't being weird and displaying it wrong. Thinking this in any way portrays the final product is just stupid.
