I hadnt invested a lot if emotion into this game when I first started.. I've spent almost a decade playing FFXI but after coming back and thinking about this.. its very sad to know all of the monsters and areas will be gone in a couple of months. I know we are getting a much better product but I have sort of grown attached to some of the areas and the fauna around it..

Having that red fire orb in the sky messing with our weather and knowing that this is the end.. even when we go on to exist in the future everything we know right now will be gone.. very sad

The sky is going to kind of feel empty with it gone in ARR. It's a really cool piece of scenery, Dalamund makes a great focal point for the game's world maps. It would be kind of cool if something happens in the story line to stop it before it crashes, and it just kind of ends up hanging around in the sky, maybe broken into pieces a bit, kind of like a second moon. Idk, just my weird concepts/ramblings.

Ironically though, I bet everyone has a crap load of screenshots of Dalamund in their folder :P
