Fighting Atomos~

We have a nice rotation going on Balmung. Some of us are getting 24k seals in a single night spawn which equates to roughly 1 real life hour.

Everlakes just crashed for us on Gungnir after we killed atomos....

Our massive nuking and porting just made Gungnir crash.

Yup, what we've been doing.

1. Start at Bluefog (either 18:00 or 0:00)
2. Kill Atomos quickly
3. Examine Voidstone 4x, get a Cluster and rewards
4. Go to your GC's hometown, turn in the Cluster for 3,000 seals
5. Teleport to Glory
6. Kill Atomos (usually runs away to south if not enough DPS)
7. Examine Voidstone 4x, get another Cluster and other rewards
8. Snort Crystals
9. **** Bitches

Seems like you are not guaranteed a cluster. 5 kills later, I examined the voidstone without having a cluster in my inventory and got anima. The next kill I got a quick buff.

Edit: I'm an idiot. My inventory was full.

BTW, change my list of rewards from 3-5 to 3 or 5 in the OP please? :)\

Also, I typo'd Crystals as Clusters

This event ROCKS!

I think Balmung's Mor Dhona just died >.>

Think Balmung crashed.

Regardless, I highly recommend KEEPING THE OVER-ASPECTED CRYSTALS

If you consume them they give a massive attack power buff (+22% up to 92) and attack magic + buff.

Anyone use the deaspected cluster on anyone yet? I am assuming it works like a raise.

This is the rarest "reward" if you already have a Cluster:

The area around you suddenly appears warped and distorted...

Your screen will go black for a second, and you'll be moved back a bit from the Voidstone. And you'll get 5 crystals.

I've seen this message before, at the start of the event. I believe it to be either his regen or a 'cure' like mechanic. Would need confirm though~

Oh, and a final note before I go to bed.

You can't turn in a cluster/crystals if it would make you go over the current seals cap. It'd deny you of completing the transaction.

Went from 9k to 49k (plus I bought a 5k shirt from the GC).

Good stuff. Also OP, it's 3 or 5 Crystals, not "to". :P

And cause I'm so OCD, my original post about Atomos spawning at Blue Aetherytes only at 6:00 and 12:00 is wrong cause I've seen him at the other two times.

I updated the 'to' to or lol /fail

And i'll remove the blue then till we get a confirm

I guess if the mob hasn't been claimed right away atomos will run away. I've been told he always runs to the same location but I'm un-aware of those exact locations. As I see more instances of it happening I'll try to post locations of the {Run Away!} locations. Just keep in mind if you port into a camp and don't see him- he might not have been killed yet. Best give away is if the mobs are still up~

For Blue Fog Atomos runs towards Cutter's Cry.

For Ever Lakes Atomos runs towards Aurum Vale.

For Brittlebark he runs southwest from the crystal through the little crevice and continues westward.

I can confirm these 3.

I can't imagine this thing going for more than 1 day. everyone on the server will be max rank/gc item/seals in few days time. anyone seen any dates about when it will end?

are clusters that rare? I ended up getting 6 in a row before I logged out >.>?

Do you mean crystals? Clusters are Ra/Ex meaning you can't hold more than one in your inventory.

Ok sorry if this is already answered because I didnt see it in this thread, where exactly do we trade in the clusters? Talked to all the NPCs in town and went to the Caravans didnt see an option to trade them.. help? thanks

Right now Atomos didnt pop on Durandal at Bluefog for the first time. Anyone else?

18:00 came and went just now, no atomos pop. what happened?
edit: only popped at brittlebark, nowhere else. everlakes, glory, bluefog, revenant toll nothing popped. multiple scouts confirmed.

I think it is a random chance it will appear at certain places. We had basically the whole server camped out at Glory on Gungnir last night and the original plan was to head to bluefog afterwords but Atomos was only there 2 out of 4 times we went there before I went to bed.

Got 40 anima, right after getting 20.

Glory got booted.
