Umm, if you want to just get them illegally, they are already available, most of them have been for 2 years.

Can't even buy the songs individually in the US store... least I can't on my iPhone.
Yeah but for example people that have All OSTs compilled in their folders for personal use and want them all neatly organized. It's already available in ffshrine, frenchies managed to break Apple's copyright over the files and uploaded it.
And it's only been 7 hours
People are openly talking about obtaining files SE owns the copyright to on SE's own forums, that are linked to their SE accounts that have their real address in them. Bold.
It wasn't aimed at you specifically, but poking around the files is against the ToS afair. Besides, newer unreleased songs are "encrypted" so that you have to first switch some bytes for them to become playable.
In case you were trying to purchase the new FFXIV soundtrack on iTunes and wondering why it is not currently available, we discovered a bug with the song titles and the song data when it is actually downloaded. In order to resolve the issue we have temporarily taken it off of iTunes.
We will let you know when we finish fixing the issue and the soundtrack is available for purchase again. Apologies for the problem, but we should have it back up soon. :)
Will this be available in physical CDs or other sources other than iTunes?
And a lot of our fellow Aussies will use this as a justification to pirate it.
And the irony is that since these region-locking of services are illegal under Australian law (we cannot be prohibited from importing, including of products marked for sale in specific countries only), the companies cannot persue damages without risking counter-claims against them in the process.
The whole situation stinks.
I would just put Nail of the Heavens on repeat and listen to it for a few hours ;D
Do you think you'd be able to add Hamlet Defense (2 Songs), Caravan Security (2 Songs) and Job Quest (3 Songs) to the OST also? It's a shame that these great tracks from the recent releases were not included on the OST. You have Seven Jesters on there; though the song isn't running through the Audio Engine so it doesn't have the same speed increase.
Much Thanks!
sad is not available on my country... ;_; and will never be... <_<
The typos are still present
I completely agree. I would gladly pay for a follow up release that included all the tracks from Ver 1.0 that were not included on this release. Many of these tracks will not be included in ARR. I would like to have them before they are lost.
Curious. Was "Walk Free" ever considered part of the OST?
Where in world is Whisper of Land at in game, i dont recall hearig it, sounds very .hack like
Some months back they changed the front area of the Black Shroud to this tune. (They also changed the front theme to La Nosca/Limsa as well). All the outskirt areas with nodes have the original Black Shroud theme song now. So I can confirm that this is currently implemented in game (Try exciting Gridania and heading into the woods and you should hear it!). ^^;
Does this album have new songs, or just from 1.0?
No Hildibrand theme ._________________.
But you did put in Starlight and Sellswords, so I guess I can forgive you :p
Ok... now there are region specific albums as well?
Glad to see Ul'dah still has "Hall og Flames" on there.
Also.. Mor Dhouna?
Maybe with the time that's going to have to be taken to fix these issues (for real this time), you can include the Hildibrand theme on here?
A great album, but it's missing my personal favorite - Cid's Theme! Such a shame :(
albeit there are some amazing tracks on here, and i will be buying it. some are rehashed from the original album, and some tracks are still noticeably missing (darkhold theme?) <- dead serious one of my absolute favorite tracks in this game, i literally ran darkholds just to listen to it lol
No worries, Soken just made "Agent of Enquiry" (Hildibrand's theme) available for free on the official SQEX composers' blog.
