Mine would be loads better but SE won't let me enter so no one gets to hear (might record one for fun though, LS's ears only until SE lets me enter.)

I actually like the idea of having multiple people doing the narration. It sounded surprisingly good, bar Camate's microphone popping noises.

I already tried this before just for fun on that other guy's forum... Hmm, I should try again! I'll make a new recording though, the old one wasn't that great.

For a second there I was thinking... hmmm this looks absurdly familiar. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed there was already a thread on the subject.

Good on em' though. I'm hoping this time more people will show up and post something. The other thread kind of fizzled out pretty quickly. Griss has an awesomely deep and smooth voice. My money's on him. Also, this is exactly what I was asking for in the other thread as I couldn't figure out how to remove the original narration from the trailer. How grand!

It's very surprising that this contest wouldn't be open to people over seas, especially the UK, seeing as how everyone in the game and the original accent in the trailer speaks with their dialect.

I'll have to give it another try. Feel free to post joke/trial voices in the other thread. I'll update that one as well.

I'm hoping those ones don't count at least.

Multiple voice overs is the best idea yet and at the end, they should be combined!

I keep pondering the funny potential of using a voice modulator (vader, chipmonk, megatron/megabyte ) :P

I like this contest. It is a shame though that they didn't include more regions.

I think its great SE is making ppl put their money where their mouth is. Best way to get a hater to be quiet is to make him show n prove.

My problem with the original was the amount of effort he put into enunciating each word, I think it's just the wording. I had a hard time myself pronouncing "unimaginable" and "ours" with a sense of urgency lol the worst was "where we remained"...

I see this contest as a tongue-in-cheek way for SE to say: "Oh you don't like the voice over? Show us you can do better."

Put up or shut up, people.

I honestly prefer the multiple voices over just one voice actor, it really makes the dialogue seem more alive ^_^
