Rokien's threads are the single biggest reason I don't come to the forums as often. If you read third party forums for FFXIV, these forums have become a joke and that's really sad to see.
I really feel he's doing harm to FFXIV for everyone that comes to these forums.
But the thing is Your Topic Title is "111122311123" when the game still has Auto-Attack in ARR isn't exactly what you think your promoting :P. its more like 2345 Monster dead ( maybe?) Next Enemy it may not be 2345 because your TP is low and you just dove right into the next fight so it could be wait... wait... 23 wait 4, but there is no "1" ( Auto-attack) there could be a "1" ( Weaponskill) perhaps.
Remember, this is the guy who thought two thread titles having two words in common made them the same thread.
Battle systems changed so much over time it's all a haze. Whatever. lol
At least it's no longer that really slow timer bar that you have to wait to fill up over time. That was so boring >_>
The problem with this thread is that Rokien's argument is completely unsupported. (GASP, right?)
There's no reason to suspect 1111112111311 style combat is returning. The only thing I see coming from this is faster paced combat. Please note that "Faster Paced Combat" does NOT mean "Faster Killing."
God forbid you actually have to INPUT COMMANDS for your character. Honestly, I don't see why this is even remotely a bad thing. It gives you more to do than wait around for TP at the start of a fight, and it finally brings you up to a command level like BLMs where you can start doing your thing as soon as the battle starts.
In fact, if anything is going to be in place, it's going to be a 15385637451947 system, which is really like any other game out there. Not to mention if you're spamming abilities and not moving, you're probably failing your group by not combo'ing.
So once again, you create a thread with unsupported facts and no thought process at all. Bravo.
thing is spamming a button is spamming a button doesn't matter if its 111111 or 22222 or 111222 or 132456. It's all the same.
You don't complain about shooters when you spam Rtrtrtrtrtrt(right trigger) with a few mix of other buttons.
And why are you people even trying to argue with me this time around, I'm not even complaining about the new system I'M IN SUPPORT OF IT!
Welcome to every game ever made. You know what games require? Player input. You know how that is achieved? Buttons.
A higher degree of player input does not make it a spam fest. It's requiring more and more information from the player to find out what they want you to do, so you aren't standing there with your thumb up your ass.
Enough with the spamfest! I demand we be able to control our characters with our minds! Make it happen, SE!

This is getting off topic, this is about how TP is now Stamina, please stay on topic.
"sorta" like Stamina, it doesn't stop you from normally attacking you any slower or faster it only effects Weaponskills/abilities and it also depends on how fast or slow the TP regenerates. so hard to make assumptions until we see solid facts.
11111 2 3 1111 was before auto attack, where you were spaming the 1 key to build TP.
So while we may start with 1000TP, the question is how fast does it build in battle?
Will we start with 1000 TP WS, wait for TP to auto regen wait 3-4 sec WS wait 3-4 sec WS.
Or will it be WS (start skill combo) auto attack back to 1000TP WS (start skill combo)
what ever it is, it's not gonna be 1111112311111451111.

I don't understand why you guys say that we will have back the stamina bar...
From what i understand, you will simply have base TP at 1000 instead of 0. This before starting a fight.
Once you engage a fight, it should be similiar to what we have now. No TP "regen" in combat.
Ex. starting a fight: 1000 tp > system to build tp IN COMBAT (same what we have now) > the combat finish, and tp will regen to 1000, just like HP or MP , that will raise in passive mode.
I really don't see why ppl recall it STAMINA, i see just a "plus" of what we have now.
I don't think it'll ever be that bad again. My guess is that certain skills will generate TP, and performing combos will also yield TP.
Go ahead and press 111112222233333. I'd like to see a marmot have its way with you again. On the grass. Finishing you off with its Nut Kick WS.

I honestly doubt we start with 1,000 TP. This was a demo build put together purely to demonstrate what ARR is.
Imagine if the crowd were wowed by watching Yoshida having to build TP to use his flashy attacks?
He's in God-mode, it's how demos work!
Look at his cooldowns, c'mon!
This is probably why we weren't supposed to see any of this gameplay to begin with
