Full sets are down to 5.5mil as of this morning and materia has similarly fallen. It will likely continue to fall to about 3.3mil if trends follow the last tier until next savage drop.

- Also if you don't care about parse, pentameld your left side and weapon (or better, get the ex weapon!), get x4 normal mode jewlery and a Tome ring week 1. You will lose about 1-2% dps, but the cost becomes effectively halved. Jewlery is the first stuff you replace on clears and the cheapest tome pieces, as well as giving the lowest stats- so it's the most cost effective pieces to cheap out on.

Doing this I can still reliably hit high greens/low blues week 1- Which is perfectly fine for me

Mind, I don't generally Week 1 an entire tier. Don't have time for alarm clocking.

We are already in second week. Every pentamelded crafted piece in my server cost over 2M+ per piece in market and I check that multiple times, so it would cost minimum 20m+ for full gear. On top of that you wanna buy some food and potions. If you wanna prepare well, you need that 30M gil during first week

As someone who cleared it with static, I have no idea how people are able to like m6s. It feels borderline impossible to get past adds in pf, since everyone uses different strats for them and even if they decide on one, they don't execute it properly. Even getting a FRU re-clear seems easier to me.

This fight is a miserable nightmare in PF. I get how it might be fun in a static. But with the current tuning it's unfun, tedious and all around an awful time. FRU was easier to PF. This is the worst fight FFXIV has done in a long time and I'd sell my first born for a PF who can actually get past adds

The more I throw myself at this fight, I think the add tuning is fine, but job balance is way too bad at the moment. The 7.2 changes were not good enough. Phys ranged balance is unacceptably bad in adds.

the items are down to 200-300k per piece. Pentamelding a left side item costs ~350k average, right side ~500-600k. You can get a full pentamelded set for ~5m :)
(by now you should have 2-3 750 items anyway, that save you even more money)

xD! I have to agree but then again.. I have seen a lot of shit in PF with fru as well..

Also, I love to know where all those forum warriors are now that were saying everything is super mega faceroll easy and why most can't understand or are able to execute a cleave concept..lol.

It's less "can't execute a cleave concept" and more "half the DPS jobs in the game suck at AoE/cleave compared to the rest".

Also, the gimme cat just sucks and shouldn't have been RNG with its targeting because it's either completely ignorable because it keeps jumping into the AoE/cleave piles or it wastes tons of valuable time by forcing your ranged DPS to single target it down because it kept deciding to jump on the OT or ranged DPS with tethers.

Don't worry, even the parties that didn't have any of those supposedly bad classes didn't magically breeze through the add phase.

its entertaining how miserably people fail on add fights, when they dont have plogons like wow, eso or other games have, which show pinging and blinking overlays with arrows etc, that tell them what to attack xd

idk, my group struggled with it when we were clueluess what to do in the very beginning. Once we had an idea, when to pop 2 minutes etc, it became very trivial and we even managed to get trough it with people dieing. Also using caster or range lb2 at the beginning is a nice push to get trough it safetly
