Thanks for the information. The severe item restrictions makes groups of trees really desirable, and it is a shame if they are cash shop only. But shoulder high palm trees? No.

By the way, these arent from Dawntrail, they are from various ARR regions (Central Thanalan, Southern Thanalan, and Eastern La Noscea) and melded together.

Im already against having plants in the mogstore, but to add a price on assets that have been in the game for years just to have it at your own house is wild.

The past couple months reek of corporate greed with the store additions. The one saving grace is that we got Hilda's hair after *checks notes* almost a decade... I'm still not buying it, but hey it's there.

There's already indoor furnishing that is mogstation exclusive so I don't see why this is shocking. Don't like it, let SE know by not buying it.

Damn it's even worse selling us old ARR content parts and parcel for $5 each along with $7 emotes per character.

Didn't we get something like this a few years back, too? I vaguely remember some cash shop exclusive trees or whatever being offered like a year or three ago.

For 5 real dollars I would have expected much more than some paltry bushes. Some plain trees that are as tall as the house would have been nice. But I should be careful, lest I give them any more ideas. D;

So now the people who are used to post "NPC outfits always go to the store" need a new argument.

But worry not, eventually this will become a common trend there as well.

Adding insult to the injury, it probably forces you to own multiple copies of those just to place more than one in our plot.

Now if only one copy is enough to place them multiple of times... wait, isle sanctuary does that, lol.

Don't care about orchestrations anymore, because that's housing. (Was my #2 collect after minions above mounts. Nobody cares about inns. Not interested in apartments after housing.)

Cash shop additions will continue until morale improves.

This is probably why the most recent holiday events didn't have any furniture items.

This used to be my favorite MMO, what the fuck is going on.

Yeah it really bad.Because atleast with hairtsyle or glam gear you can atleast keep it on character, meanwhile the furniture you need a house and the house is gated you to stay on game due scummy ways of SE. You don't win lose, you lose lose tbh.

Shame.
I actually want some value for my sub after so many years of paying SE.
Instead we get more cash shop junk.

These plants would really help free up slots in my yard, why did they have to be so greedy and do this? I won't be buying them, 5 dollars each is extremely overpriced. They really need to allow you to get these once you buy them from the Calamity Salvager. They also need to allow you to duplicate them like you can on Island Sanctuary.

These cactus are literally just goblet cactus from 2.0... for $5... And only ONE item, not a stack of 5... Yes I bought it because I've been waiting years for a cactus outdoor item but damn... They aren't even high polygon.

These are literally the exact cactus from the goblet, they are RIGHT NEXT TO MY HOUSE. But I can only place one item, meanwhile there's like 5 copies of this cactus right next to my plot. So annoying. Super rip off for a 2.0 object.

Congrats on being part of the reason that this problem will not only persist, but will get worse in the future. Buying them means you just told Square's accounting team the direction they need to make this game continue towards.

I WANTED Rebirth but it was Playstation exclusive and i got spoilered to death by just opening youtube and glancing at Thumbnails. So yeah, there was no reason for me to buy it on PC.

They won't, because they know the ERP crowd will never quit the game because this game's ERP scene is bigger than Second Life. It's not a game, it's a platform for people to install degenerate content with others.

Any developer that thought these items needed to be on the cash shop instead of the gold saucer to be purchased with mgp needs serious help. Won't be long till they charge you for garden minions that auto water and auto collect crops when ready

Sadly with the sub numbers slowly falling this would be the best thing for them to get short term money. They can and will continue to milk people who are still subbed.

I always respected the RS community for striking and rioting when the devs went to far, but without a big youtuber taking the charge I don't see anything of the sort happening. The only person who actually told people to unsub was Lucy Pyre and she has sadly not gotten a lot of people in the community actually agreeing with this.
