Instead of censoring criticism of the Live Letter maybe actually build a good game

Hmm..forum rules were broken, thread removed and people are crying about it. Yep all is has it should be carry on.

The only successful content being developed is just a new, recycled version of old content. It's been the case since Shadowbringers.

Some people complain about the Stormblood MSQ, but it was one of the most important expansions we had outside of that, arguably more than SHB/EW. It feels like CBU3 lost their touch after SB.

Nice, nice. It wasn't that difficult back when it first happened (I skirted by with 11th place and I only spent a few hours grinding) so it'll be interesting to see if that happens again.

It's nobody's game right now, and will be nobody's game if they want to release content at an agonizingly slow pace of nearly 5 months per patch when the content can be done in the course of five-ish hours for casual content. It's absurd for everybody.

Of course I don't think that. You have chosen to redefine censorship as "the literal deletion of all negative comments." That's not what the word means.

If the studio responded in a coherent way to legitimate criticism, they wouldn't be losing the players.

there's no MIDCORE content in this game, and still isn't in next patch lol

They do both. The thread overall would have had to break forum rules to get completely nuked like that.

Sometimes you'll see the pages a particular post is on change in a thread, so you know they're removing posts in it.

Also I'm pretty sure it was a convenient excuse to do some search engine optimization because I saw the criticism thread at the top of Google search results when I searched for live letter 85 lmao

Even right now it's the fourth or fifth result but when you click in it's just an invalid thread :)))) oh how so convenient!

This thread claims the mods are censoring negative criticism of the live letter. In these forums there are a few current threads criticizing the live letter that aren't being censored. There was one thread that got nuked because people started talking details about plugin's, ie. it's removal was not because it criticized the live letter. It's the doomsayers here who are hyperbolizing that into "the mods are censoring all criticism".

i do not think that people really expect something detailed but prob people been thinking of some sort of newer stuff then just warmed up stuff from the past thats my guess. its dangerous to say "it is a post/thread designed to stir negativity on the forums." just because you think its created in a bad intense. I admit i am hyped for the phantom job thing but just because i expect something and i will be massivly down when it wont happen the way i think it will so yeah but i understand people are critical against the rest of this whole presentation since its been warmed up dish from 2 years ago or even more and just because its always been that way doesnt make it good. Still i am looking the letters even if i dont expect them to surprise me in hope theyll someday do. As much as i hate it this game is way to important to me even if i am for now a housing slave. There are a lot of people like this and they are not just write stuff like that for stir negativity.

Exactly the same, more than likely. People botted the hell out of it the first time.

OP omitted what might be the most crucial part of 7.2... pvp. This is pretty much the only place with actual gameplay to boot.
That being said I don't trust them, especially if they do changes as bad and lackluster as 7.1 despite it being the pvp patch.

I'm wondering if the 7.2 PvP changes might be an experiment for potential PvE changes. Like you, my fear is they're going to screw it up.

I don't think OP is offering good faith criticism by any means...but admittedly I did think that this LL was more of a nothing-burger than usual. Like the only announcements that I can remember being something I found interesting in the slightest was a little bit about the new field exploration job system and how that one old Frontlines map is returning, but even that was like...2 slides worth of information. It just feels like there used to be a lot more new things and changes announced, idk. I'd be super excited for PLLs and read the translations first thing if I couldn't catch it live, I was always so excited to see what was in store for the game. But now I didn't really think to check the PLL notes until a few days later and it just felt like, "Oh...that's it?"

Maybe it's just my own attitude toward the game that's changed? Or do you think there really was just less stuff to see and talk about this time? I was really hoping there would be something in there to get me feeling that same excitement again, but it didn't work.

It's the same as it always has been. Part 1 is the general, here is what to expect in the 7.2 patch cycle, part 2 is where they go into more information about them, including any notable job changes (though nothing specific, just generalised statements).

Part 2 they are going to go into the zones and show you, in the flesh, what the cosmic exploration content looks like, and show us what the gameplay loop is going to be, at least in the beginning, they are going to go into Shade's Triangle and give us a quick look at how the phantom job system is going to work.

But remember, they aren't going to tell us everything, they still want there to be an air of mystery, that you need to, shockingly, talk to each other and the community about, share information and help each other out.

This is also why I keep saying it is ridiculous to complain about not getting information, when we know it is likely to come in part 2. It is just getting annoyed for the sake of getting annoyed. Or, i the OPs case, they know what they are going, they know these things stir up trouble, so they make a post to stir it up.

If you're trying to recapture a feeling you had years ago, it's probably not going to happen. Not specific to this game either, it's just a sad part of growing up and getting older.

Sure. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a fantastic game, and it runs silky smooth, making the gameplay experience fantastic.
