My favourite word! ^_^

A bag is a container that you store items in. Inventory is a term to refer to things that are already stored. You store things in a bag. What is in your bag is your inventory. Learn to vocabulary. Calling people out on calling something a bag? What next, the fact that there's magic in the game? The fact that we have walls made out of stone? Let's make a thread based on all the shit this game has that WoW also has along with terms, why don't we? I sure hope my character isn't breathing air because that would be a total ripoff.
That being said, I can't wait for your reaction come ARR once you see what "inventory" will be like.
Right... because people don't make a big deal when people say "toon" on these forums.
Stop trying to have a serious discussion about something I said facetiously. I was commenting on "bag" being a WoW term, I wasn't trying to state that it is improper use of the word by it's definition. Most players simply call it their inventory.
It's not really a big deal though, so stop going gonzo over it just because a community rep got mad and made a sarcastic response.
I respond to things I find stupid, offensive, or hypocritical. My words and opinions are my own. I don't side with anyone, and here I do not represent anyone. Your original post was silly, the rep came in and totally stomped on it, I thought it was hilarious, and then you came in and made a reply that looked as though you were trying to compete with him on who wins the logic race, with a totally illogical display.
If you don't want your posts to be taken seriously, then don't post. Bag is not a WoW term. It is a god damn word of the English language to represent a storage container, and it is in this game, and many other games. In fact, your inventory icon is, hey, a bag.
Why? I guess this guy doesn't like tea.

On behalf of Sargatanas, I would like to let everyone know that Mijin is a terrible representation of our community.

Actually I have the impression that instead of having a different script for each vendor, they went and standarized the entire shop system, so that instead of copy/pasted code all over they'd have essentially a single set, since it's probably going to be called all over the place.
They were probably hit with a small roadblock in how to change the initial words in a customizable manner, and with so much more important things than a line of text that more often than not is skipped given how often it's seen (it's not uncommon, I think, for you to shop from the same salesman with frequency) they decided to postpone it until, well, they had time (which would be now since I think no more systemwide, changes)

Not sure if butthurt or just blind
But but.. In XI we had a gobbiebag...?
that we did that we did and we got to expand said bag for more space
I meant to say XIV when I made that comment. Ironically though, no one called the inventory space "bags", or characters "toons" in XI either.
ahhh but just because some people do not call said things that doesn't mean that isn't what they are or what it's represented as in the game or even what the game itself calls it. and no in Xi most people called them Chars not toons.
Not to mention it's violates Forum guidelines

le sigh, the point i'm going to say is no one on here really cares who had your name the longest... and honestly your point earlier about how your arguement is greater than his because of having the name longer is illogical and completely bonkers. He made a valid point that it's called a bag in the game and so the devs will call them bags. Everyone else was saying that there are bags or backpack type of things in it. Then you had to give an insulting apology after someone pointed out that the dev was still correct. It's called a technicality. And since his job is to represent the company and the game he's going to use the correct terminology that the game uses. Which he posted a screen shot of. And that was what the other person was point out. He didn't get insulting until you basically told him his opinion and his points meant nothing because of you having your name "longer" than he did
He's been insulting me since the first time I ever posted on the forums here like a year ago. The first time he ever made an insulting comment to me, it was about him and I having the same name. I remember it well. The conversation I was having with him wasn't meant for anyone else, so don't worry about it. There was no point to the argument that I've had my name longer. I was being facetious. Just like I was about the bag comment. You guys take everything seriously, I guess it's hard to read sarcasm on the internet.
I'm not going to continue the argument though, because I don't want to get in trouble for breaking the forum rules.
Also:
Sorry to anyone I offended, including Bayohne. Sometimes I get a little carried away because I'm not used to the people I usually surround myself with being easily offended, and I forget that other people can tend to be more sensitive that don't know me. I was only kidding around. I'll be more cautious in the future. Have a nice day.
I remember the time when I said something like "I can't believe we have the same in game name" In a jokingly manner, though I guess it's not as easy to read it online. However I also remember that you had the same attitude as you have now.
I love how these forums degrade into personal arguments so fast now... Ironic that a community rep post started it as well.
I liked this thread better when we were trailing off of what Bayohne said.
I think it's best not to use "playing game X" as meant to be a condescending or derogatory notion. The reps (devs and other players too) should not be judged, because they may play/enjoy games made by other companies.
