Did you use fantasia to switch races after graphic update?

(I still love my main character.) So I didn't use a bottle, I just made a new character and playing the story again :3. For Female Hroth.

Are you Sun Miqo’te face 4? I’m Moon Miqo’te face 4 and I feel much the same way. I don’t know why they took such creative liberty with this face when they tried to preserve the look and feel of most others.

“A doll with duckface” seems pretty accurate for how my character looks now too.

I’m just…heartbroken.

I wasn't too displeased with the changes to my character, my only complaint was the limbal ring stuff and just a shift in color fixed it, so I didn't really feel like using it to change race like I did with the first free one I had sitting around right after Au Ra were added.
I did however use it to clear space and ended up giving my character bigger tits, because why not.

I haven't changed at all. I think my Roegadyn came through the whole change as a net positive. She had one thing changed about her, which is bags under her eyes, but I find that to be immensely attractive... so yay?

Thought about changing to Elezen, which are the winners of this update, but then i remembered the animations are still the same and the "head to shoulders" sizes are still...meehh. Used a Fantasia and "remade" my hyur a bit, made her shorter and changed Eyecolor.

I would but unironically they ruined all my go-to races. Face 2 Femra is ruined, Female Viera has this weird dirty face textures, I'd go Elezen but I can't ignore the yaoi shoulders and long neck....

I honestly thought I should fanta into a lalafel then I remembered how weird people were when I was playing on my lala alt, ranging from really sweet/kind to downright creepy. My male miqo was a malera magnet which I hated. I was left alone as a femra/fem miqo...

There's really nothing that I can think about changing. I don't like the animations of midlanders/highlanders...and I'm definitely not going hrothgar. Roe are out of my range of preference, min height miqo/aura was what I like, I don't enjoy tall characters.

I'm very conflicted about this update. I want to give it a chance, but honestly...I hate it. The facial animations are awful, the new catchlight system makes eyes look dead. I don't want to gpose anymore. The lighting is strange in some areas with some weird high contrast. Example Labriynth of the Ancients, 'spotlight' then DARKNESS on the stairs. Same indoors. I don't know who asked for all this....I reckon people were excited for HQ grass...

Nope, I'm happy with the changes to my WoL thankfully. I feel for those who aren't though, must suck.

I did change to a Hrothgal, but were abit too bulky for my liking and I just couldn't go back to no hats.

Swapped back to my Lala with a spare fanta and just tweaked a few things for giga cuteness.

I never ended up getting one. they were handing them out for free weren't they?

Claimed it - but not sure why if I'm honest. I think it was a 'for the sake of having it' thing.

I've only used a Fantasia once - my original free one - to make a very slight, minor, adjustment to eye colour. Other than that I've always been happy with how my character looks and have never felt compelled to change anything.

I swapped back too, but for me it was the fact that as a Hrothgal my hair color was not consistent and it kept alternating between lighter or darker than the skin in different lighting when I wanted it to be the same color, like an extension of the furry skin. Most of my favourite store glamours looked unusable because the rigging (or whatever the technical term is) made them look oversized. Also some accessory-style hats that should have worked were invisible. Just too many problems.

So, fantasia #2 and a slightly different looking Elezen than before. I'm trying to experiment with hairstyles and hats to hide the eyebrows.

I changed to femhroth from a lalafell because she just wasn't my lalafell anymore, and it felt like the lala I was invested in didn't exist anymore, but now am having issues with finding gear that looks good on her because of current issues with the shoulders and the gloves looking weird.
I'm considering changing to something else when fantasia go on sale but if they have it fixed by then, I'll keep her. If not...then I'm going to assume they don't think it's an issue and I'll change. Have no idea what I'd want to try though, maybe I'll make a brand new lalafell, or join the masses of catgirls or lizard girls, haha.

Had been considering changing from fem Viera for ages due to the continued lack of helmet support even with brand new glams, but i loved her look and im a huge fan of Fran from XII. Unfortunately after the update i didn't even recognize her, completely dead in the eyes and i couldn't fix it with the aesthetician. Now a male Roegadyn and loving it so far.

Thinking of going back to Elezen just so I can wear hats again. Viera are awesome, and I love mine, but it's super annoying to be limited to a few head pieces. There's a whole zone that demands a cowboy hat, but nope, no hats for me.

I ended up fantasiaing back to a new lalafell today, I do love my hrothgirl but they have far too many issues at the moment.

My WoL looks just fine. Maybe a little rounder face but eh.
I did think about changing nose because of the black spot that is probably a glitch, but eh. Like, the tip is a bit darker, but at times there's like this big black circle.

I think I am far too many people atm. :( I don't blame anyone for changing their mind about hrothgirls. It's especially tough on those who have already bought attire from the marketboard or mogstation, and now they're suddenly very limited in their clothing choices. Feels like wasted money, and fantasia, lol.

I use it only for skin and eye color change. but still didn't satisfied about my character.

I cannot discern any difference between my current and old look, except a minor difference in reflections in the eyes.

Yep but only to fix height issues and I didn't feel like paying for a Fanta just for that lul.

Ended up going back to Midlander, which is the race I picked when I first started playing back when Stormblood dropped, and honestly, no regrets, he looks practically the same as back then, just more high def. Had to get used to the run again, because I got so used to the male Miqo'te run.

Yes. I returned back to an older character design, my tabby cat, because I missed her. It was fun to run around Endwalker as "myself" but I'm back to my OG ARR design for now.

I liked how my miqo looked after the update! But I wanted to be big buff cat so I fanta'd.

Only some mild adjustments to my bunbun. I've fantasia'd enough over the years to realize I always return to viera.

I still don't look as good as I did in 1.0, so until they update us to that level of fidelity I'll remain the same as I have for the past nearly 14 years.

I am perfection, no need to change. That fantasia will stay there probably forever unless I use it on an alt.
All in all they did a great job with the graphics upgrade on my character(s).

Yeah, on some of my alts which I use for gpose.
Changed a Viera into a Lalafell, a Roegirl into Hrothgirl and a Vieraboy into a Miqo.

Kind of. What I usually do is during the last patch of an expansion, after all MSQ I fantasia into another race so I can experience them as well, then go back to being a Midlander once the expansion drops.

I used the free fanta to give Hrothgals a try. I think they're pretty great but their weird gear rigging issues and zero hairstyles are a problem so I'm back to Highlander for now.

I wanted to but i didnt.

I decided that i want to see my character in the cutscenes and how the update changed her. I am happy with how it is so there is that and dont need to change details right now. I am also probably to attached to her after those years that i wont be able to change her race for longer term so i will not do it at all.
