NO CHANGES NECESSARY (outside of maybe a potency boost)
NO CHANGES I like the job as it is. Leave those positionals alone.
No, heckin no. NO, NO CHANGES, NO SIMPLIFICATION
The current rotation is VERY easy to follow and understand, it alternates positional attacks in a very logical easy to follow way.
No changes. They went on and on about how they need to change their fight design before changing job design so how can they change a job without us even playing the new raid? Its an unprecedented overreaction.
Please, the job is already perfect!
Please no....
This job was exactly what I needed after they ruined monk. It's fun, it's fast paced, it's got positinals and buffs to keep track of. There's absolutely no reason to change it. Just give players time to actually learn the job and get used to its playstyle. Don't dumb it down because of "feedback" from players who have maybe only played a few hours on the job.
No changes!
Yes. Please change and make it less busy. Remove positionals completely too.
I'm delighted with Viper more or less as it is right now. I main Gunbreaker (which for those who don't play it, is also a job with a lot of oGCDS and weaving/double weaving) and Viper feels great to play! The positionals are a learning curve, but I knew from what I saw in the media tour footage that they would be part of where the skill ceiling was, and I was happy to be right! It's fun!
NO CHANGES TO VIPER!
I like the changes coming to VIper.
No changes needed at all, the job feels amazing as is right now and to take away from that, in the start of an expac no less, would not only take away from how they advertised the job but wouldn't even give the majority of people the time they need to really learn.
NO
If players cant gitgud with the job, then they shouldnt be playing the job. It's not meant for everyone. It's meant for people who enjoy the fluid motions of the busyness that all other jobs lost over years.
NO CHANGES :)
Also a no to the changes from me.
The class plays very well and is super fun the way it is.
In terms of rotation, business, positionals, skill animations, themes, speed, anything that affects how it feels to actually play: NO CHANGES PLEASE.
But dear god fix the tooltips so they are useable for new players and let me turn off the useless part of the gauge. You know what the useless parts are, it's incredibly obvious.
NO CHANGES please c: Am really loving the job so far and greatly enjoy both the aesthetic and how the rotation fits so well with the job theme. I know that's not what's being changed, but I'd really prefer is this already fairly simple job didn't get simpler. It feels good having something to optimize.
Add another person to the no changes crew, I thinks it’s great as is so far
Extra range like GNB to the oGCDs to alleviate movement when disengaging is good.
Anything else: no changes!
No changes, please.
No changes, please.
another one for no change
i dont understand what so hard/confusing about this class, this class even more straightforward than DRG (in term of melee)
I could be ok with the range increase on OGCD.
For the most part no changes, the job is actually fun to play, don't make it less busy.
No changes.

Leave Viper as it is.
I'm still in the boat that VPR's initial attack range on Generation GCDs needs to be slightly longer(1 or 2y) but that's it.
No changes otherwise.
NO CHANGES
A direct critical NO!!
VPR is great just the way it is.
NO CHANGES
The expansion is out for less than 2 full days and you announce simplifications to an already simple class? Absolutely insane, let the class breathe for a minute FFS.
Yeah, the tooltips are terrible at explaining the job, but once you know how to play it it is so incredibly simple that any further simplification will turn it into just another boring DPS class. For the love of Vipers, leave the class alone.
No Changes.
People wanting changes need more time with the job. It’s been out for all but 5 metaphorical minutes. Hardcore players need to put it through its paces in savage. And casuals need a little more time to cook with the job mechanics.
Changing it this early could lead to an overcorrection. Then the collective player base will be mad that it’s too easy or “not fast.” This complaining is what lead to the eventual loss of cleric stance. The state of the game is because of the feedback of the community. Let this job breath as is for at least two months and see how your opinions change.
I don't understand why the devs listen to a vocal minority of people who say bla bla bla the viper is difficult when it is really well-designed and fun for once,
and especially after only a week of hindsight, it's mind-blowing and ridiculous that they wait for feedback after the savages to make a decision.
This is really abuse, it's rushed, and it's especially unheard of...
I don't know who the f is saying it's too busy, it feels exactly how I thought it would and I like it.
The only change I would like to see from Viper at the moment is that sprint animation, that thing looks atrocious. The animation looks like a pelican running to blast off into the stratosphere.
NO CHANGES!!!!!
it hasn't even been out of a week. The job is simple. Just fast paced.
Viper is exactly what I have always wanted in FFXIV.
I have yet to meet the person who says "why job fast?" after choosing the job that has the entire purpose of being fast..... Do not touch that APM, its great, I want nothing to change about this rotation.
NO CHANGES!!
Also: for anyone who is genuinely having a problem with positionals just push True North right after Dreadwinder and you just dont have to worry about it anymore. So I am not really understanding who is complaining about positionals with VPR....
