lvl 97 fending/maiming armor. Miqo'te issues.

Personally, I have just fully given up and come to terms with the fact that the designers don't even know that races other than Hyur exist.

They threw the towel in back in Shadowbringers. It's so rare to find headgear with ear pockets, and ear holes seem to have disappeared entirely since ARR. It's so difficult to make glamour with new items since it's rare they modify them for each race. It's no wonder Hrothgar and Viera still cannot wear most hats.

Unfortunately you have to turn to m*ds to fix these kind of things usually(little things like this and hrothgar/viera hats) because square enix seems to give this game a skeleton crew to work with despite it being their biggest money maker.

Looking at the new helmet... Somehow without the ears it was better as the new ear pockets are way too small and on the wrong spot.

Was actually hoping that Pictomancer Turban update was letting our ears show, rather than just removing the earrings.

Nearly every headpiece this expansion just removes the ears, so I can't enjoy any of it.

Though fun fact with that helmet. It crushes everyone's skull.

And not too concerned about the position of the ears. They are more cosmetic than functional. If anything the actual ears would be tucked in with some earplugs.

Also would have liked to have all 3 eared version of that helmet for all races. Kinda envy the bunny ears.

The developers really need to not cut corners on hats/helmets and items of clothing that clip the tail.

Like I personally loathe the clipping of the tail when the clipping is all over the place and I don't care quite as much when the clipping is in the same place.

The key problem with the hat and helmet is tied directly into how the emotes work on the characters. The miqo'te in particular have ears that move with emotes, where say Au Ra players have horns that don't move at all, thus making the horns just clip through the hat or hair doesn't really come off as distracting. I haven't paid enough attention to Hrothgar ears to know if their ears move at all, but it's not unreasonable to assume that they should at least fidget, and thus clipping through hats is kinda bad.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if I could wear headgear and the tradeoff was that my ears were hidden, I'd be a happy bunboy.

Bring back the 1.0 quality. I don't care if we get less sets overall.

Honestly with the vanguard set it wouldn't kill them to replace the tail with an armored covered one even if it was just a single type. At least it would be consistent for Aura and the Cat Races.
