Sounds like an extremely niche or short term problem. Either a) you eventually catch these fish and it’s done for log or b) you do this enough times you should be able to gauge how much to prepare for a “round” of this.

Either way, an entire dedicated storage for this is unnecessary. And if you are that extreme niche case, you have saddlebags, just like every other niche case player.

Have you ever done it: Big fish hunting? It's kind of the end game for fishing, at least to my circle of friends. So, in my experience, it's not so niche and would be a very nice quality of life thing. As other people have mentioned, it could also be a space saver for SE as well. Honestly, it's their problem to solve or not. People who do a lot of fishing are expression their concern and frustration. They'll either take in that feedback or not.

And, yeah, fishing is niche by its nature, but a niche they've put a lot of time and energy into.

I think that are just the people who want to catch all the big fish from level 50 to 90 at once? It's like wanting to complete the crafting log from level 1 to 90 at one and complaining that the inventory is too small to hold every needed item from level 1 to 90.

Always just do a few at a time.
