About the free Fantasia that was promised

There will be a low level quest in Ul'dah with 1 fantasia as a reward after 7.0.

Additionally, after using a fantasia you will be able to login and spend up to 60 minutes in-game and make further adjustments without needing another fantasia!

Which is something that everyone has been asking for. The ability to change something after using a fantasia if it looks bad in game. This combined with having battle voices in the character creator will be really nice.

I think the idea of a little quest to explain it is a really good idea.

Since it's a low level quest, every character (including alts) will have access to it.

The change to fantasia is really awesome. It allows people to make minor changes without being afraid they won't like it.
Gonna be interesting if,. because it has a quest, they will try to have some sort of lore with it. Right now fantasia is "don't think to hard about it" type of "canon".

Imagine the fun you can have at in-game parties: pre-create and save a bunch of character designs, and then drink a fantasia and switch through a bunch of them during the one-hour grace period.

I expect it'll have about as much lore as most Extreme fights (y'know, where the whole lore is "the Wandering Minstrel tells an embellished story").

Only issue with the 60 minute limit is you probably will get stuck in a queue for that long during Early Access

It's not 60 mins of rl time, it's 60 mins of logged into char time.





So that bypasses that issue.

You could also wait until the que is down to a reasonable level before triggering the freebie. Mine will probly be a super-late night/early morning type thing.

If I pop my pre-bought fantasia before maintenance starts for Dawntrail, I wonder if I'll still get the 60 minute grace time.
