Easiest solution to the gil-farm/FC-house hoarding situation

Biggest issue with houses is not all houses get same amount of items inside or outside. If they let every house upgrade to large for same amount of gil issue would be gone. Should be able to buy any house, then pay 20mil for med upgrade or 50mil for large upgrade. Then wouldn't matter what house you get.

Still no answer, why the OP is complaining about a System that gives FC's the ability to earn Gil. Is it cause he is lazy to make his own Submarines? Or is it because he earned already tons of Gil out of Submarines and can't stand it that other Players can earn Gil with that too? It can't be about "Free Housing Plots", there are so many empty Plots left. So I am curious what this Thread is about? Ah I just read that the OP owns 2 Private Houses and 1 FC House ... Why is OP not starting and give up 2 of his 3 Houses, before he demands changes?

I feel like I've repeated myself so many times but unable to get my point through. My point is excessiveness. Noone should be allowed to own wards of housing when there is scarcity for it. To remove the incentive of gaining massive amounts of gil from these houses, leaving submarines to the legimite FCs, will discourage hoarding of houses. How many times do I have to post this and how many times do you need to be clarified?

I told you my FC is not shell and I use both my personal houses (maybe not the Materia one, which I will give up if I have to, but it's again, a personal, not a shell FC made to generate gil).

That is what the thread is about. Noone should be excessive. That is the complain. My initial post has the recommendations to help it.

It's honestly getting tiring explaining it to you.

All you can do is join in and accelerate.

i think maintaining one's submarine fleet in theme park mmo is as legit source of enjoyment as any other. raiding, glamouring, clubbing.

op is living proof that any random player can own two fc houses if they really want to.
it is not as horribly hard as some housing doomers broadcast.

i'm not sure how much gardering makes but i'm pretty sure it wont be nearly as comparable to what submarines make

exactly. no joke these forums have made me almost just ward owner ally, for how much crap is flung at them all the time. i am also mystified by people who have so much energy to care and complain and rave when no one, nothing, is keeping them from trying to achieve something similar.

i am bothered by ward owners about as much as i am bothered by people flaunting their glowsticks at limsa. not very much in other words.
you think these ward owners just woke up with couple of gilcaps of playmoney? you think they didn't have to take chance when it was the time to take the dumb chance?

aspiring for house ownership in this game effin sucks is you think it's waking up one day and walking peacefully to buy your favourite mansion. it is saving and planning for what you want with plan b, c, and d. it was so when we had the timer, and it hasn't changed much.

if anything i wish...
1) they'd (the ward owners i mean) lock their houses, so no one can go snooping around, then come to forums cry: "the interior was not decorated, waste, waste i say!".
2) put some cheap flowerpot outside, so no one can come to forums to complain: "the exterior wasn't even decorated! they don't deserve!".
3) give their fc's different <tags> honestly to mislead stalkers, so no one bothers come to forums moan: "look at all these <fc>s! QQ they /dries tears... they bought my friend mewodasu's plot from in front of their nose 4 years before they joined the game!"

personally, i wasn't always in this comfortable position as im now with my presence on servers i want to be present, with my houses and my fcs. i don't own whole wards because 1) honestly i can't 2) i don't want. but i have unfulfilled housing dreams towards which i work all the time. it is not unpleasant grind for me.
if i was dying, losing sleep and going psychotic flavour, to have house i would do the stupidest thing: move to OCE or whatever is seen as the ghost server with houses and get the damn plot.

submarines bad, because they are too effective passive money makers. not even the most effective money maker in the game, just one, comfy effective money maker. why? looks like the anger rousing detail is the potential.

ok so, imagine they nerf submarine profits to shadow realm. they're gone, they're no more. will op/people who agree with him be happy?
or will they do like people angry and jealous of other peoples' houses, come together and shout and kick and scream around the forum until devs come and change the house acquisition again, and nerf any other similarly potential passive money maker?
you think the people who enjoy money making, seeing the number go up as many have admit, don't have other ideas for money making?

Let's punish legit FCs for the handful of ones that multi-FC-house to gil farm. Great idea.

For some inexplicable reason you look down on those who pick up the unwanted trash off the street, aka houses on dead servers. And yet, the house that you would choose to let other players have is... the one on a dead server where almost no one wants to play anyway and mansion plots have been empty for years (yes that's plural, not a typo). That's the funniest thing I've read all day.

When will people understand that multiowners are operating on different servers than the fcs struggling to find houses? Freeing up houses on a congestion dump server isn't going to help the housing situation on servers like Balmung.

I'm no fan of single players buying up whole wards, but... unironically I would dislike them much less if they made any attempt at livening up the place. They make it SO OBVIOUS that they're all shell FCs with the plain yards and houses and the similar FC tags. Where's the creativity? Where's the FUN? Someone went through this effort to buy up a whole neighborhood but can't be bothered to have a little fun with it?

I discovered a Shirogane FC shell ward once where the owner had commissioned all these interior decorators (and credited them!) to come in and make the ward into a whole resort town. Hotel rooms, stores, restaurants, a bank, a casino, a dojo... It was all really well done and at that point I can't even be mad if the person who owns all these houses is making bank with submarines because the area was so cool to explore and the theming was on point. I go back and gpose there sometimes. It's like the rich land owner actually bothered to reinvest back in the community to make it a nice place! XD
