Please add Hilda's hairstyle for all!

She's half Hyur and half Elezen which is something I wish the devs did more of in this game and even gave us the option to do in character creation. I've been wanting this since Heavensward came out.

I wish they could do this...I play Midlander mostly and add a pair of ears I am sure it would not be that difficult.

Just adding an extra ears tab to the character creator would make most half races possible… if they want to go all out, make a tails tab too.

I’m sure the excuse would be something about fitting headgear to different head/ear combos but all I wear on most of my characters is my ponytail ribbon anyway. So give me elf ears and let the Viera and Hrothgar finally get all the hats! lol

aww I know and we should be able to have this hairstyle! They have hardly given any in recent times and they have been short which is fine as other players like that. I wish they would add this and nice longer side braids it really does annoy me they haven't added this one.

Going to bump this thread as we know this hairstyle will be added but not sure where and when...I really am hoping it will come in the next patch and it is from the Gold saucer or somewhere easy to get so everyone has access to it. Lets hope they give it us soon :)

Gold Saucer would be perfect! I would prefer it ends up somewhere purchasable in-game, rather than an RNG drop from something that will make it ridiculously expensive on the mb and/or damn near impossible to obtain… thinking of the pain that is the Figment coffers right now! lol I want to go to the shop and buy the second it comes out!

As much as I want the hair and have enough gil to buy it if they made it tough to get for a lot of players then for me that would be a bit shitty after players wanting it for so long. I am unsure I could part with a massive amount of gil for it tbh...lol

It's prolly gonna be the hairstyle obtained from Chaotic which is unfortunate.

Yeh in the last live letter they said there would be Hairstyles but we are not sure what yet. I know that Hilda's hair has been found along with Zeros and Graha hair but there's is with a outfit so probably mog shop.

Interestingly enough, it’s tagged the same way as Zero’s and G’raha’s: unique, untradeable, market prohibited. So that gives me a little hope that it won’t be a random drop, although it makes it sound more likely cash shop.

Yeah odds are it'll be from the mogstation, though I'm not sure with what. Is her outfit unique? I hadn't taken a close enough look at her

I only bring that up because I don't recall them selling hairstyles by themselves, they are typically paired with the NPC's outfit

That could just indicate that it's purchased from an in-game shop and you have to earn the currency yourself.

It's not unique-unique but it's class-locked gear – primarily the maiming-specific Hussar's set (link to Hilda's info). If the hairstyle was going on Mog Station I feel like they'd be making it a glamour set like Iceheart's.

If anything it might be from the Gold saucer at least I am hoping it is. I know we have the hairstyles from Island sanctuary but they do not seem to be adding anything new there sadly. If it is a Mog station item then it would be the first without a outfit. I wish we knew if it was coming soon as it is the one I have wanted for years >.<

Took another look and the Saucer hairstyles are also tagged the same way, so I’m hoping! All the other in-game places I could think of, the items are usually sellable on the mb: Variant currency purchased rewards, the shops at the Firmament (which would actually kind of make sense lol), drops from maps, etc.

The ones from Island Sanctuary can't be sold, and you have to look beyond just hairstyles because they do it with other things too. Some examples I can think of are an earring from the Sil'dihn Subterrane prize exchange and Estinien minion from the Firmament.

Are we getting any this expansion? I'm not sure how they intend on pushing those out, but if they did it'd be fun if we got to see Hilda again like we did with Hancock

If the hair is added there it wouldn't be too difficult to grind

Support added. While we're at it. Hilda should be a main character imo. I feel her personality and unique perspective would add a lot to the cast.

I want Ranaa Mihgo to be a main character too, she was actually really good at her job as a Dancer and has the ability to sense Dynamis due to the art of DNC. I would like another spunky character like Yda we haven't had since Yda became Lyse. Then introduce or bring another beloved job quest character to be her opposite like Yda and Papalymo were. They missed a huge opportunity to have Ranaa Mihgo help the Scions in the Thavnair portion of EW since that is her homeland too.



Hilda would also be a good character to join the Scions too.

Just looking and they seemed to have added G'raha Tia's Attire to the store but his hairstyle is separate so the first time they have done this....I am a bit sad to see it was not Hilda's hair but maybe it will be from the store idk. It could be months before we see it I hope not.

Yeah makes me think it’s a lot more likely to be cash shop now. But honestly I don’t mind paying the $5 for it, I’ve wanted it forever and it would at least be easier to get!

They could make her ears like a earring glamour or something, like the Emperor's stuff. Hilda's New Ears.

Yay rejoice :D I am so happy, it is a shame it is cash shop but it is not expensive and I feel it will bring a lot of happiness to players. I bought the chaotic hair and it is nice but it was affordable as I save all my gil but I think Hilda's hair will be the one I use for a long time..I just hope it looks good in game. I am a Midlander and It should work well. I am unsure on the gaps on the cats though but I will have to look when in the game.

It definitely gives a overall slimmer look, which might not fit everyone. The highlight color is still tied to the secondary fur color on Hrothgar.

Why is this allowed to clip in the most obvious and faulty-looking way but hats for viera and hrothgar cannot be introduced under any circumstances because the ears might clip, with the clipping probably looking less out of place than this.
