If those are my only options, Miqo by a long shot. I hate female Au Ra. They have one good face and their animations are way too cutesy for me. I really wish we had gotten something much closer to their concept art. Male Au Ra are fine when they're standing, but they run like Crash Bandicoot and therefore I can't take them seriously.
Miqo'te have great animations for both genders and their look is fine. I don't love it, I don't hate it, either.
I have both male Miqo'te and male Au Ra alts and love them both, so... both? I've played them both as my main races until Viera release as well, so it's hard to pick one.
If I had to choose only between the two, though, maybe Au Ra simply for the fact dragon-like races are less common to see. Although I like male Miqo'te animations better in terms of emotes, they're nice.
