Hmmm.... I never have 180 days-plan option from my account about 3 months ago. Wonder why... :?

Let me put it this way. If, and only if (and I do not believe that is the case) they really oust the 180/90 day billings after 2.0 comes about. Then no, you are still being rewarded since nobody at all is going to be able to pay the 'batch discount' price.
I still fully believe they're reimplementing the longer plans with proper 'batch discount' come 2.0 and are only doing this to prevent users from being exactly what they always are: stupid.
So what exactly is the deal here? When SE started charging for services in January of this year, I signed up for 180 day billing cycle. As I read the announcement from SE regarding the discontinuance of their 90 day subscription option, nothing was specifically said about the 180 day option. However, I read between the lines, and maybe I shouldn't have done that, and I took this to mean that only 30 day subscriptions would now be allowed, and if we didn't change our options, we would be shut out of our accounts. Therefore, I changed my billing to 30 days, which, incidently, was the only option offered on the change subscritpion page.
Did I misread this? In any event, I'm now on the 30 day plan, but I lose my bulk prepaid discount, which is somewhat unfortunate. I think SE was a little ambiguous in how they announced this. Any clarification here is appreciated.
No one seems to understand the gripe lol. Of course I'm grateful for them offering Legacy status members the $9.99 for life option, but that's in 2.0. I was drawing attention to the fact that SE only needed to push the end of 90-day rate back a week to allow those on the 180-day plan a chance to ALSO take advantage of the bulk pricing for 1.x.
Why is this a big deal? really? it's been 176 days? you've been shortchanged a matter of pennies. And it's not going to be a big deal to keep going, just reactivate. It's not like nearly all current players aren't going to be getting a significant discount on the regular price when 2.0 finally comes out.
I don't see anything confusing or "ambiguous" here either. Multi-month sub plans are being removed. You will need to switch to a 30 day one when your current one runs out. What's so hard to understand about that?
I'm still playing.. I'm still paying.. They have not cancelled or de-activated my account. I left it on the 180 day plan.. :)
As I mentioned previously though the 2nd account I have I changed to 30 days billing and cannot get it back onto 90/180 days.. The change option is not there :(
I guess I will find out if my account gets locked over the next few days haha. I'll keep you informed.
From what I understand of the billing system. The very moment you next billing cycle hits, you'll have your account cancelled, and then you will need to reactivate it.
See, there's a certain logic here: You pay for a time to play before you play, not after. So when you bought your 180 days, you bought your 180 days to play. After, they immediatelly bill you for another set of 180 days, but if the option for 180 days is not there (for reasons discussed in this thread), then you have an invalid billing option, and thus you do not pay for the next amount of months, thus you stopped paying, and thus your account is cancelled.
I would like to know were it says anything about 180 plan on any of the dev posts. If I could have a link that be great.
